I'm better than scratch and I smash this driver over 300 on a regular basis. Just tee it up and.....BAMB!!!! Friends stand amazed with mouthes agape. I'm used to the praise. Go buy it now. I'm the best and you are the rest.

Model Reviewed: Ping G15 12 degree.

Having bought a new set of i 15 irons as a retirement present (from me to me) I decided to see if the Ping driver could give me more than my current driver (a Benross Innovator X). After a custom fitting session where I tested a 10.5 and a 12 I decided to go with the 12 degree. I compared the Ping with another of my redundant drivers, a Macgregor Mactec NGV2 in 10.5. The Ping 10.5 was on average 14 yards longer than the Macgregor and had a tighter dispersion pattern. The 12 degree Ping was 10 yards longer than the Macgregor and had a tighter dispersion pattern than both the Macgregor or the 10.5 Ping G15. I used it for real at Formby Golf club on a windy cold day I hit 9 out of 14 fairways finding the dead centre 6 times. This is the most consistent I have ever been. I have no hesitation in recommending this driver in either loft. The 12 degree works best for me.

Model Reviewed: G15 10.5

After much success with Pings G10 I decided to buy the G15. My G10 was 9 degrees but I found a G15 10.5 for cheap and went with it. The driver came with a Graffoly Prolaunch Red S. I have read a lot about this shaft and since my ball flight is high I thought it was a good fit on trying to flight it lower. This club is not near as long as my G10 9 Degree with the TFC 129 shaft. Feed back was minimal, severe loss of distance on off centered hits. Ping boosts that this club is suppose to be the answer for that. It was not for me. It is a great looking club and instills a lot of confidence at address. there is a noticeable difference in overall club size compared to the G10. I am not giving up on the G15 until I try a couple of more shafts in it. I would recommend it to anyone looking for the latest 460cc driver with a great look and feel at address.
