I have always been pretty inconsistent off the tee. I hit a friends 9.5 trimetal plus and loved it. I bought the 9 degree deep face by accident thinking it was the 9.5, well, the one I got is amazing it doesnt even compare to the 9.5Plus. When I swing well this club is fantastic. The trajectory is low and fast. I can usally get a consistent 260-280. At first I was worried that the clubhead was too small...but the confidence I have gained in this driver put that worry to rest. I've tried a number of drivers over the years and I'm pretty sure that this is the one that I will be using for years to come.

Ok...I hit the ball.....and I swear it has not landed yet....feels great....you have to tee it up a bit lower....but you catch it on the sweet spot.....KABOOOOMMMM!!!!!!! 9.5 loft...with a EI-70s-Flex....great price...can't go wrong.....was going to buy the Callaway...SteelHead....but at this price.....I think not!!!..SteelHead is a bit $$....this club i bought was in the used section....+25% off....the guy who traded it in must of hit only 1-2 rounds only....cause it was in EXCELLENT shape.......try it if you can find it.....worth the comparison!!!!

I'm a fairly inconsistent driver, the balls are usually playable but I can be left or right or down the middle, but there is one consistency in my drives...They are LONG!!! This is due mostly to my Orlimar driver. I've read the other amateur reviews on this club and unusual length is also the most common thread between them. When my swing is on and I'm hitting well off the tee this driver feels better, sounds better and drives better than any other driver I've hit. Don't believe your Callaway/Ping/TalorMade/Nike swinging golf buddies when they tell you to 'get rid of that gimmicky club and hit a real driver.' Just tee it up and show them just how 'real' it is. The only drawback that I can see for this club is it's relatively small head...not as forgiving as the other larger drivers but once you become used to that it is one of the most superior drivers in my opinion.

I think that this driver is great once you get used to it. I bought this driver, and thought of returning it. I decided to stick it out and try it some more, and it payed off. I now consistintly hit it 250 off the tee, and I really am not a longball hitter.

For the money, this is the best driver I have ever hit in my life. I had a Trimetal 3-wood and literally crushed it from the fairway, so I thought I''d try the driver. Bought a 9-degree dirt cheap off of ebay and it''s awesome. Easy to keep it in the fairway and longer than my Titleist 975-D or my Callaway Hawkeye. You won''t be disappointed.

I bought a 7.5 degree TriMetal online. The first time I took it to the driving range I noticed two things. 1) The ball literally explodes off the clubface. Even if your swing speed has something to be desired you can still put a massive WHOMP on the ball 2) My already feigning ability to hit straight was multiplied by the fact that the loft was too upright. So bottom line, this club will kill a ball but be careful with the loft that you select.

I just got this club and it seems to be a real good investment. Combined with the EI-70 shaft i''ve seen an improvment in distance and control. The ball comes of the face very hot compared to other drivers i''ve owned.

Some birdbrain had this for sale in his yard for a buck - apparently his son got thrown in the clink for shooting up or some crazy shit. That's ok, now I will shoot balls down range with that junky's club. Anyway, I get this sonofabitch to the course and didn't intend on playing it until I had to go and wrap my old driver around a tree (again) cause that friggin' slice reared it's ugly head, so I pull it out and tee it up. First shot, BAM, crushed it at least 300 yards. Only problem is, the roll was a bit, how should I say, limited due to the fact that some old bird found her way into my trajectory, just moseying along with her pull cart (you know the type). Anyway, she had to seek medical attention so I figure it's best that I cut that round short, and PRONTO! Can't wait to get this thing back out there, but I'm trying to get a new look so that crotchety old marshall won't ride my ass again. Will keep you posted on the outcome.

I bought it for 169.99. The ball does go a long way with this club. I have the 10.5 degree. The gear effect definitely works on this club. Longest driver I have ever hit. I have the regular flex shaft. I needed to slow my swing a bit but gained distance from my other driver.

The Orlimar driver is a fantastic club.
Very forgiving. The ball explodes off the face. I've gained 20yds with this club & gotten better accuracy & consistency. Also the product is well built. I'm a 17 hncp and still hit the ground at times when driving. This club takes the punishment and comes up in good shape. On some shots you can see the ball working back. Say what you want, the technology works.
