Received this driver as a gift with an EI-70R shaft. Just got it back from putting a Harrison FL 3.5 stiff, and WHALA! This combo is powerful. The transformation is miraculous. I will use this as a back up to my TM 300Ti, but not because it is inferior. Although, I'd prefer a 9.5*, for trajectory purposes. Similar Products Used: TM 300Ti |

Would have bought the 9.5 but found this one with a little dent for $65. I have hit this driver righty and lefty (switched last year). This is by far the easiest club to keep in the fairway. I have used the Cobra Ti, Ti Bubble, GBB, Integra, and some others and none were as straight off the tee. The 10.5 is a bit high for me (had the 9.5 when I played righty) but the 9.5 is perfect (swing speed about 95-98mph)...I also have a Callaway with a grafalloy shaft and while it does hit about 10 yds longer, I would probably miss twice as many fairways with it! Other reviews are correct in that it is very hard to work the ball with this club (esp a draw). But until I find another driver that I can count on under the gun, this will stay in my bag Similar Products Used: Cobra Ti 9, GBB 8.5, Ti Bubble 9.5, Integra 9 |

Great feel, great sound. Mishits very forgiving. Nice traditional shape and look. Not gigantic head. Getting about 20 yds more from the tee. Titelist 975 went a little farther but less forgiving Similar Products Used: Great Big Bertha, T-Made 300, Titelist 975 |

Bought this club because of what I read on this web site. I have to say this is one of the better clubs I have played, Once I learned how to swing it. The ball does explode off the face but the ball flight is really high. I have the 10.5 degree driver and wish I had purchased the 8 degree. Overall this is a real club to have in the bag, just make sure you don't get too high of a loft. For the price I don't think you can do much better. Customer Service Oh man this this was a real dogfight. When I bought the club the shaft broke on it at the driving range. I sent the club back to Orlimar the next day. It took over 6 weeks and many calls and e-mails to finally get a replacement, but they did send me a free hat with it. Orlimar Trimetal 9.5+
I got this club and was really happy. Take my word for it, because this club is very long. When i play, if i hit the ball pretty bad it still went at least 230 yards. The ball just seems to jump off of the face of this club. I used to hit a driver around 220-230, but now on a good hit it will go at least 280yards! There is only one problem with this great club, If you dont hit the ball very very close to the sweet spot then it will either hook or slice. This club is not too forgiving. I highly recommend that high handicapped golfers do not use or buy this club, because you'll get frustrated as for why you can not hit the ball straight. If you are shooting in or around the 80's then i will highly recommend you use this club because it will let you drive the ball very long. As for my comment for the value with one star, my reason is because i think that no piece of metal with graphite is worth $300!!!! Customer Service very good Similar Products Used: original Orlimar 9degree driver |

Trimetal Plus Driver 9.5+
I bought the 9.5+ driver, firm shaft, shaft by Rapport, about 3 weeks ago and have hit about 100 balls on the range and used it on a couple of rounds. It definitely hits longer than my old driver (which came with the iron set) probably because the Orlimar club is longer by about an inch. However, I am still finding difficulty controlling my shots. It is quite forgiving on off-center hits....but it does not have any marker on the top of the head and it does not seem to sit very well behind the ball at address. If you think that this club is going to do wonders for your drives...well...it's not. The Callaways are probably easier to hit straight. Well...I am thinking of changing to a 8+ ...otherwise it's more practise time for me till I get more used to the club. I used to hit well with my old driver (which i had for 3 years) but now....it seems like I am back to the 30 percent slice and pull-hook when I was hitting in the 100s about a year ago. When I get it right, I hope to hit it 240m (or 20m longer than my old driver. |

In the past 4 months of use I have cracked the face 2 times (both replaced on the spot by Pro Golf). But the Club hits really far and easy to work. Fade or Draw is easy with this driver. I hit the ball 300+ without an effort. Harder swing with this club does not mean more distance. |

Orlimar Trimetal 8+ driver
I have played this club and found it to be the longest driver yet. Longer than Ping, Callaway and Titleist. It does take sometime to adjust to it, but once you do, you wont have to spend 400 plus for a new driver. Mine came with the UST 65 shaft. Similar Products Used: PING TITLEIST CALLAWAY |

Overall a very good driver. I have an 8 degree with a tour stiff EI-70 shaft. I am a high ball hitter, so this still goes on a fairly high trajectory, but I can hit it lower when I need to by adjusting my ball position and swing. I average about 260 and when I nail one, I can hit it 300-320. On really good days, I have flown the 260 fence on our range with ease. Definitely one of the longest clubs I've ever hit. Fairly accurate as well. Looks good at address and feels very solid at contact. Now that Orlimar is coming out with a new driver, these will be a real bargain. Customer Service I cracked the head after about 8 months, Orlimar promptly replaced the driver with the same model, so no complaints. Similar Products Used: Taylor Made, Calloway Big Bertha |
