befor i had this driver i had the model right before this....can't remmeber the name but anyways i love this driver i play it now and i shoot in the mid to low 80s range. it has a really really soild feel. the only time you can tell if you miss hit it off the toe.the way that they have shaded the top of the club head makes it look like a smaller club head, so you feel more comftorable at the address i definitly recommend this club to any player who wants great work abilty and a soild feel time after time.

Before i got this driver i was hitting a king cobra that was about 10 years old. i figured it was finally time for me to upgrade to a new awesome driver and man did i hit the money on this one. I was hitting at 230 yds fairly consistently but always hooking or slicing the ball. i took this club to the range today and after about 5 or 6 balls i was able to get my swing right and put the ball at 280-290 yards exactly in the direction i wanted every time. my jaw is still on the floor. i love this club!

ive had this driver a few weeks now and im really getting a feel for it. i had a terrible slice with my old driver so i wanted to buy a nice new aparently quite good driver. its amazing for me, im 14 years old with no handicap (but getting 25 handicap)and i hit 200 yards consistently with it. do sometimes slice it slightly but it quite good for miss hits. i would definately recommend this club if you are experienced or have a handicap of 28 or less. if you are a beginner i wouldnt advise getting this club as the nike sq 5900 is soo much better for beginners and only about £10-20 more expensive.

I got this Club in the mail yesterday, tried it out today and i gotta say I was hitting the best drives I've ever hit. I usually hit around 225 on a good drive but with the sumo I was pushing 250 and getting much straighter shots. I would definitely recommend it.

This is a follow up to the previous entry
two doors down. I've played about a dozen
rounds with this club now and all I can say is "wow". I have now picked up another 10-20 yards over the other one and straighter than ever. Between this
5000 and the cleveland halo my wife got me, I shot my record round of 74 on Sunday. I just can't believe it. Previous
low score was a 79 last year. I'm getting
in trouble tho.........all I can think
about is my next round.

I have been playing for about 7-8 years now and have been searching for the perfect driver. i have been looking for one that i can just open up on and have a fade at the worst! i think i found it! when i took it to the driving range the first thing was that i was not getting it in the air but i figured it was because of the golf balls! when i got to the course i could not get the driver straight until i realized it was me! after i fixed my swing i hit every fairway the rest of the day! i was not longer than i was with the original sumo or what i was with my king cobra 440 but i think i just need to get a little more use to it because i was in the area i normally drive! if i have to sacrifice the 5-10 yards to stay in the fairway i will be ok with that! i hit the ping g10 maybe straighter but that was with an x-stiff shaft instead of the pro force v2 shaft which i love! i hit it straight when i swing hard and i can fade it or draw it when i want to. nike did what they said they were going to do in making a driver that is forgiving and can also be workable! great driver! when i get more than 2 times of using it under my belt i believe i will hit it further than the other ones because i can swing it with out worrying about a slice! bought it for 129.00 from a ace golf shop in chicago! ordered it and it was here brand new in plastic! great buy for a married man with a kid

I traded in my nike ignite 460 for this one. The only reason I did is the shaft was too whippy. If I gave it a little extra, the head would lag. This 5000 came with the Diamana shaft and what a difference! I'm not picking up much more
distance but, you talk about straight!
You can't miss the fairway. There's
definitely something to this high MOI
thing because you can hit it anywhere on the face and it's down the middle.
Previous comments were made about the odd sound but, so what? We play golf for score, not for sound.

So far so good.

I had purchased the Nike SQ Sumo Irons and was really excited about getting the driver to accompany the set. Boy was I disappointed. I never really felt comfortable with this club. I found it harder to hit the drive with accuracy and consistently ended up slicing my drives. Boy is it LOUD too! I mean, I don't mind a nice "whack" when I am hitting some balls at the range, but this is a bit ridiculous. My ears actually hurt after 20 or so practice drives. Like I was banging on an empty coffee can. Luckily my local Sports Authority took the club back with no questions asked, so I have to thank them for that. If you are looking at this driver and not used to a large 460cc head, I urge you to hesitate and practice with a friends club before you commit to the $199.99 price tag its got now.

Customer Service

N/A although Sports Authority gets an A+ for taking the club back from me.

First of all i'm not a review person, but a receive this stick as a xmas present from myself and what a blast!!, i went from the Sasquatch 460 9.5, to the R7 10.5 reg. and now this, and i'm very surprise about the performance and capabiltys of this club, it's amazing!! with a little change in your swing your ball can go anywhere from dead straight and long to a power draw or fade. highly recomemden to keep the ball in the fairway!!

Last summer I went through 5 different drivers. I could not find one that worked for me. I was fitted with different heads and shafts but could not find the right fit. My handicap jumped from a 6 to 11.
I bought this club on ebay for $199 and it changed my game around. I was hitting the ball longer and could work it right to left of left to right. By the time the club championship came around I was ready and won my flight by 6 strokes. There is no doubt that it was because of this driver.
