I purchased the Nike SQ becasue my friend finally talked me out of my old Wal-Mart 12 dollar driver. The first time I hit the thing on the course, I could not hit a bad shot. After that I started to hit this monster like I had nothing to lose. I noticed that I tend to push it right and if I just take a nice easy swing it goes straight and very far. With my old driver, i was hitting about 5 fairways a round but at an average of 250-265 yds. With the Nike SQ, I hit about 8 fairways and averaging 300-315. My longest straight one was 375. |

Nike SQ 460 9.5 deg.
I have just recently found the game of golf... I am 29 and never really had an interest in the game until lately (past 2 months) I have used several drivers owned buy my friends and co-workers (unknown brands/models) and have averaged about 220 to 240 when I get it to go straight and in the air LOL. But the other day at the local driving range they had one of the Nike SQ's on demo for anyone to try it out so I did and wow wow wow. I am very much just a beginner (2 months). This club just felt right from draw back to follow thru. My average good hit ratio with most of the other drivers I have hit has been around 3 out of 10, With the SQ I was averaging 8 out of 10 shots leaving the tee the way it should. Although none of my shots went straight (hook to right) the hooks were consistant allowing me to adjust departure angle to put the ball close to where I wanted it and the distance was on average about 275. Take this for what its worth coming from a new beginner but I think this club is great. I plan to purchase one in the near future and I feel confidant that I will learn to straighten my shot and get 300+ from this club Similar Products Used: several differant brands/models owned by friends |

Purchased 9.5 degree driver when it first came out with stock Mitsubishi shaft. Some great drives but slighly inconsistent accuracy. Reshafted with the new UST ProForce V2 65 grams. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!! Gained 15 yards and better control. Get the right that is right for you and the ball will SCREAM off the clubface. Similar Products Used: KZG Gemini 455, Cleveland Launcher 460 |

I recently purchased this driver on Ebay for $225. It has a regular Adila shaft. To be honest I read all the reviews in Golf Digest and on this site and was expecting big things from this driver. I hit the driver a few times in the launch monitor, it appeared to go straight and long every time. Unfortunately I have not been able to hit this driver straight on the course. This goes to show how accurate launch monitors are. When I do connect, the ball flies in the 280 yrd range. I only am able to hit it straight 1 out of 10 drives. Im sure it is my swing and I need to adjust to the new club. I do have a generic offset driver that I hit perfectly straight but cant seem to get more than 220 yds out of.

got the sasquatch on ebay for 200 bucks. went and played yesterday and I love this club. I told myself that I would never buy a Nike club but this is the best driver i have ever hit. I had never hit one before, I just took what I had read about it in these reviews and got it. It really did add about 25-30 yds average on my drives, my longest being about 315 and straight. I have the stiff flex, 9.5 degree model. The sound is sweet. To me it sounded like I was hitting the ball with a louisville slugger. I could go on and on about this club but all I am going to say is if you don't have one yet....go get one. Ok, I have owned other drivers (G5, Callaway 454) and I have tried many other drivers (R5, R7, Launcher). I've heard stories that xyz driver added 25 yards to my drive and it never happened for me... Finally, I too have experienced a driver that adds 25 - 45 yards to my drive. With my G5 I averaged 233 yds. With this driver I averaged 257 yards and hit a couple of balls 275 and one 300 yards. I measured it with my skycaddie GPS because I couldn't believe the results. This driver is GREAT. I hit it further, with greater consistency, in more control, and mis-hits even are better... I would recommend this driver to anyone that I don't play golf with cause for now, I have an advantage over any of my friends I meet on the links.

This really is the 'real-deal'. I went to a Nike demo day, more out of interest, than buying a new driver.

I had been in the market for a new driver and found myself hitting either the R7 or the Nike Ignite (not wanting to even touch the Sasquatch, THANK GOD I changed my mind). A sale came at the pro shop and I couldn't pass the deal up. I paid only about $228 for the club so here goes... I took it immediately to the range and put a bucket of balls through it. Figuring my swing would be rusty because of the off season, I was in for a surprise. My first shot was a rocket that landed into the back net of the range (250 yards) on the second bounce. WOW! The next 15 balls, about 13 had the same effect. The other two were mistakes made on my part. It didn't matter where on the face I hit it, it went straight and long. And I did hit almost everywhere on the face. So forgiveness for this club is out of sight. Again, the distance on this is amazing. I am capable of driving 250 consistently... The SasQuatch is going to take me further. It sounds like you're hitting a ball with an aluminum bat, but boy is it worth it. My only complaint... The head cover is son of a gun to get on and off! I have put about 150 balls through it and the results still amaze me. I am looking forward to the season! Customer Service Yeah, I am in northern japan... I got lucky to get the club... forget about customer service. Similar Products Used: Adams Redline and an Adams Tightlies. Before purchase I tested everything from the R7, ERC HOT, a Yonex, The Ignite and MacGregor with the plugs. |

Just an update....yes some may call this thing ugly...but after the first 2 rounds with it I have to argue..I find it very beautiful indeed....I played in 40 degree weather and on both occasions only missed 1...yes that's 1 fairway each day...!! Now for an 80's shooter thats not bad..managed a couple 270 yarders in the process...BEAUTIFUL ...just BEAUTIFUL.... Customer Service I had some problems with NIKE customer service, they tried the end around on my questions..but in the end I got what I wanted...so have to say so-so on service Similar Products Used: Taylor made 580,Cobra 440SZ |
