This driver compares to the 975D that I was playing with a 6.5 degree loft and a ProForce 75 shaft. When I played with the stock shaft, the ball went all over the place. I tried a steel shaft and BANG, it goes as far as the 983 and much straighter. I would suggest changing out the shaft of the NIKE drivers.

I've been struggling off of the tee for a while and have tried many drivers. Tried the Nike at an indoor range and liked the feel and when I saw the price for a new one on ebay I thought I would give it a shot. All it requires is nice easy tempo and the ball flies off of the face at an excellent launch angle and is quite forgiving. The head size is not overwhelming like some other drivers out there also. So far, so good!

I replaced this club with a Mizuno Blue Rage Driver. I'd say it's adequate but I prefer the Blue Rage. Had trouble keeping it in the fairway.

Best club out there right now, for the money. 99% of all golfers are lucky to break 90, so this is the club for them. I feel that the Nike is very forgiving, which helps make up for its softer feel. Besides, this is hands-down the best looking club in the history of golf! That should count for something, right?

I have absolutely no idea how people like this club. This club is the worst driver i have ever hit in my life. I currently play the old ping black headed drive with an s300 stiff shaft 43 1/2 inches and there is no comparison. The Nike driver is way to light and you have no sense of where the club is. It is balanced all worng and is a complete dud. I do like Nike products though i have nike pro combo irons and the t40 tour and love them but the driver is horrible don't buy it.

Saw this driver go on sale for $149.99 and thought I would give it a try. Got it last week and took it to the range a few times. I have to say that I hated this club. There is no feel to it. No wonder they are being sold for 150 or lower. I am not sure how so many people like this driver. I bought the Tarlor Made 360 XD 2003 club and that is superb. There is no comaprison between the two. Take my advise ad buy something else. There several better clubs out there. Maybe Nike should stick to making shoes.

Im a 14 year old looking for a good driver and I got this one as a present. I wasnt very familiar with nike being in golf anf all so i was a bit sceptical. I have been golfing for about 4 years now but have only been out around 15-20 times during that 4 year period. My normal drives were around 200-250 yards before i picked up this driver. I went to the range last night and I was hitting balls 250+ and they were straight. I had one or two go past 300 and they would have been on the fairway unless it was really skinny. This driver is very good compared to the ones i have used.

Found one from a pro with a custom shaft (fujikara stiff). So, for the price -I couldn't pass on it. Still can't decide if I hit it as far as the new Titleist, but I'm convinced I'm more accurate with it -and we're only talking about a few yards one way or the other. Head has nice dimensions (doesn't give "too big" impression). By the way, I'm hitting a 9 degree and am hitting it plenty high.

I agree with another reviewer...take a 40+ handicapper who says he now drives the ball 300 yards with a grain of salt. That being said, I gained no huge yard advantage with the Nike driver, however it is one of the more forgiving drivers on the market. I put a YS-7 shaft in mineto keep the ball flight down.

Anybody who shoots in the 90's wouldn't know a good golf club if they were hit with it. This club is dynamite! The ball explodes off the face, the feels is incredible and the shaft has an awesome responsive feel especially at the bottom. I have hit almost everything and I can tell you this is the club you want. I mean, the guy who can play anything he wants (Woods) is crushing it....hello?
