I purchased the 350 and enjoyed playing with it but felt I needed more forgiveness. I then traded the 350 for a 400 and without question I did the right thing. I hit the 400 about the same distance as the 350. The difference is that I am much more consistent and accurate with the 400 driver. Once I hit a bucket of ball the size of the head felt very comfortable. The face of the driver appears to be closed but it did not effect my ball flight and I usually draw the ball. It is an attractive club and I think the 400 has a better sound when hit than the 350. I was using the Titelist 975D and I think that the Nike is a better fit for my swing. I hit the Nike farther and more consistent than the Titelist. The stiff shaft in the Nike driver is about a 6.3 on the stiff scale and that with the bigger sweet spot has help my driving accuracy as well as maintaining about the same distance. With the 10 degree loft the ball flight is higher than the 8.5 Titelist or the 9.5 Nike 350. I recommend this club

Model Reviewed: 400cc Nike Driver - Stiff Shaft

I have been playing a 275cc Nike all summer, and loved the distance, but I struggled a bit with control when I didn't hit it right on the button. I decided to demo one of these big drivers, and it almost doesn't seem fair. I hit it higher and longer than the 275cc. I love having so much carry on my drives. If you are a golfer who stays away from the giant clubheads like I am, let me just say that hitting it 300+ down the middle every time makes you forget about the big clubhead real fast.

I just purchased my second Nike driver and I have to tell you that this is the best driver I ever had. I purchase the 350cc and I did not like it, however after testing the 400 cc I fell in love with this driver. It is awesome and easy to hit. I recommend it to everybody and Nike is not paying me to say this!

This driver is all sweetspot. I was worried about the head being too offset, but after a couple of shots, the cosmetic hooded head disappered. I was even able to play nice fades. A very good driver and highly recommended for low handicappers... If you get the right shaft for your swing speed, all golfers can use it... It is sooooooooooo easy to hit.... Is this club legal?

Second week (4th round) with Nike 400 - superb! Missed 3 fairways in 4 rounds with driver out of box. Much more forgiving than any driver I have hit before. Distance is good (the smoother the swing the greater the distance), but will cost you if swing speed exceeds your tempo's capacity. Great feel!
