I must apologize...one good range session does not provide enough info to post a review. After taking this driver to the course, I had mixed results. This setup was very inconsistent for me. I know that 9* of loft was too low for my 100mph swingspeed, but the shaft was supposed to be a higher launching one. This wasn't the case with me. On a couple of occasions, the shaft vibrated wildly after impact, something I have never experienced with any of my other clubs. Weird. I hit low balls with this club and balls off the bottom of face were short. Go with 10.5* of loft and reconsider the shaft. It is supposedly a Fuji Vista Pro 60, but...? OK, TM 580XD 9.5* Aldila stiff...I'm sorry...back in the bag you go...for now;-) Similar Products Used: TM 580XD, SMT455DB, Titleist 983K, etc. |

HOT HOT HOT! Well struck shots are loud and long. Picked this up new for $89. Wheee! The stock Fuji VP 60 stiff is pretty dang good. Seems very forgiving also. I will take her to the course tomorrow. Tested this at the range today against my tried and true TM R580XD 9.5* Aldila stiff and a Mizuno MP 001 9* Grafalloy Blue. Granted it's kinda apples and oranges, but so far I like the Nicklaus best. It's not easy being a Club Ho, but it sure is fun! Go get yourself one of these on the cheap! As good as any of the hyped up "Thin Crown", "Repositioned Mass", etc. etc. out there! Customer Service Called Jack and thanked him personally. Similar Products Used: TM R580XD, R540XD, Mizuno MP 001 400cc, TM Burner 420, Ping G5, and some junk. |

I'm really impressed by the performance of this driver. I got it at $87 at Ebay. First I thought that it must be nothing but so-so driver. Wow, I was totally wrong. The design of the head looks firm. Nice metallic finish of the crown looks also fantastic. The stock Fujikura shaft really perfoms well. I think the multi-layer technology with a great stock shaft really makes this driver outstanding and compatitive to any other big name drivers. Overall, I added at least 25 more yardage and my drive is more consistent. I definitely recommend you guys try the driver. One of the top-ten drivers at lots of testing websites and magazines. What can I expect more from $80 dollar driver? Similar Products Used: Srixon AD 403, Mizuno MP-001, Precept EC fuel. I like Japanese drivers. All of these are hot drivers in East Asian countries. They even don't want to try those Callaways... |

I previuosly had the Airmax 360 with the "R" flex Fuji shaft which I hit well, but the sole of the club cracked. I then tested the Nike Ignite and 440ML - both were OK, but the 440ML felt slightly better. The launch monitor said I sould go with the "stiff" Fuji shaft. At first I tended to push my drives a bit, but the last few rounds have been really good driving rounds - I get about 220 - 240m with the odd 270m drive. The best think is the value of this club; it's about 20% cheaper than the "big Name", but delivers the same performance. Customer Service I like the idea of being able to extend the warrenty to 5 years. Similar Products Used: Airmax 360. Nike Ignite 460. |

Well, got this on a special deal for a long drive tourny and WOW! I hit 314 without even trying! (just to put one in the grid) That was with a stock club! The club sets up well, flies like a rocket and swings smooth as silk (thanks to the Fuji shaft) I have all Nicklaus in my bag, like they say: " the best kept secret in golf!" is right! Not saying theres not maybe something better out there, but these are good all around clubs. Only negative I could give is the head angle, a little too upright for me @ 6' 2" tall, but doesnt seem to effect anything. The ML makes an impressive "pop" off the face, and since the COR is higher at slower speeds it should be good for the gentler swingers to add distance. Good price too! I'd be glad to put a $800 R7 against it anyday! Customer service,,, well thats flat out outstanding period! They treat you like the most important person (if you need them). Thanks Jack! Customer Service Unbelievable! Similar Products Used: Nicklaus JNP 8.5*, Integra 9*, SMT Nemisis 7*, SMT MV2 6* |

very solid club, shaft is awesome with this head. distance is as good as any other driver on the market. price is the best thing 239.00 out the door. ball flight is very boring with the 8* roll is above average. I seem to be hitting a slight fade which is find by me. set up is very very square, face depth is deep. I prefer deep face driver. sounds pleasing too. very happy with this club. |

Awesome driver (perhaps the best i've ever hit). Since the head does not have grooves in the massive "hot spot", the club does not impart as much spin as other clubs. Thus, it reduces the slices and hooks that I may hit. At this point in my golf game, I am not worried about "working" the ball and am more concerned about being straight and out there. I can probably hit this around 270-300 yards and i'm only 5 6. Also, the Fujikara shaft is amazing. Although 440 cc's may seem large, it does not feel as if I'm swing something so massive. One of the best features of this club is that it can be had cheaply. I got this club under 150 on ebay used (although it did not like used at all). Customer Service Haven't tried. Similar Products Used: Taylormade 500 series (my second choice). Great Big Bertha II, Adams Redline, Cleveland Launcher, etc, etc. |

I own the Airmax 440 with a X-flex shaft. it is great! it has a sweet spot almost as big as Cobras has for about $150 less. arb123 is right; it is a cannon. i have mine in a 9 degree loft. The more loft the better with this club. it puts a lot less spin on the ball. The shaft is superior(the one by Fujikura). Customer Service I have a high swingspeed(around 125MPH) and the clubface started to wear out. There was no noticeable damage to the club, but you could tell it was dead. I sent it back to Nicklaus and they sent me a new head for free. |
