Bought a new set over the winter on ebay. Loved them. Good looking, extremely forgiving, long and light. Progressive sole design was really cool, and some of the best hybrids I've tried. I recommended the set to a few friends and they bought them too.

However, about 4 months after I started using them, the head of my 7 iron broke off the graphite shaft, and one of my friends had 2 clubs break on him. Such a shame, as I really liked the set otherwise.

Maybe the steel shafted 3DX RC's don't have this problem, but I would be very wary of the graphite shafted version.

Ordered my 3DX RC's a year ago and completely fell in love with them. To my dismay the heads started separating from the shafts. First my 9 iron head flew into a pond, and yesterday the 6 iron head came off. Very sad to learn that Nickent went out of business so good luck to me getting anything out of them. Seemed to good to be true when they came in for such a great price and I guess I was right.

My less than 2 month old 3DX RC irons began falling apart. My 7 iron head came off first on August 11th. Sent it back to Nickent for repair. August 20th, my Pitching wedge head came off. Not snapping off, but the shaft pulled apart between the hosel and flange, just like my 7 iron. Nickent tells me to send my P-5 irons back so they can reshaft. What am I to do in the mean time, just wait for my clubs to come back they tell me. They also told me my 7 irons would be back to my by August 19th, this is August 25th, I have yet to get it back!!!!

My clubs are men's right hand with standard flex graphite shaft. One of the managers admitted to me that they had an entire bad batch of these clubs that were made overseas. They seem quite laid back about the entire ordeal considering that it is their product quality that is deplorable. They refused to send me new clubs, even after the KNEW FOR A FACT that my clubs were on their way back to them via Golfsmith. Told me I had to wait until the fixed my original clubs however long that will be!

Last season I accepted the fact that if I wanted to lower my handicap I needed to leave the driver at home and tee off with my 3-wood. I did this and went from a 26 down to an 18. But to get any lower I need a way to get those long par 4's to not be short par 5's.

Over the winter I picked up a 10* 3DX D-Spec for a song on ebay. It was in VERY rough shape cosmetically, but I paid less for the club than the NV 55 R-flex shaft was worth. The first time I took it to the range it was definitely promising. But I was pushing a lot of drives low and left (I play lefty).

So I decided to make a restoration project out of this driver. I refinished the head and reshafted it with a Graphite Design YS-6, also R-flex. I tried it out on the range for the first time today.

All I can say is, wow! I definitely agree with the other reviewers as to how forgiving this driver is. I could not seem to miss with this thing! And in a head-to-head comparison with the Tour Edge Exotics that I started playing this season, I'd say the distances were about the same. But there was no question that the 3DX did not leak left nearly as much as the Exotics. It's a good thing I got a great deal on the Exotics as well, because I think it just became my back up driver!

Just bought a 3DX. It is about 10 yards shorter than my Taylor Made r510 with the same Proforce shaft. The Nickent is much more forgiving and my bad shots are still in the fairway. Face is huge and forgiving, but if you are a pure ball striker is might not be the best driver for you.

Well, I finally found it. I have never paid too much for a driver. In fact, I wait until they are reduced after they have been on the market for a while. I have tried the Ben Hogan driver, Calloway big bertha (which one I dont remember, there have been so many big berthas), Olimar, Adams 460 Dual (the weights are screwy LOL) and several others. I am not going to say that I drive the ball 330 yds or any of that (I wish). But, as far as forgiving and long goes, this is the best driver I have ever tried. I hate the sound it makes but love the results and thats the bottom line. Results. I just hope I can get another of these after they are discontinued and mine wears out. I have always been in search of a great driver at a reasonable cost and I dont think I could do better. If only they made wedges that are as forgiving as this. Oh well, the driver search is over, I hope I can find some forgiving wedges.

This club is amazing i play 3 times a week im not a big man bout 5"11 150lb soak and wet i freaking smash the ball extremely far. easily 275yds I won't change driver until there is something that feels the same. If you hook it or slice you still are in good position. i tell all you fellows having problem with the big stick look into it.... my saying is drive for show put for dough... I play with titleist 704.CB Forged and they are freaky man try them fellows step your game to another notch....

In the last three years I have bought quit a few drivers: R7-460, Callaway X460, Fusion FT-3 and the FT-5. I like the Fusions and bought the FT-5 but I was curious about the Ft-I but did not want to shell out more $$$, So I decided to try the 3DX.. I am glad I did this club is awesome. Hitting more fairways and average distance is better. A slice swing ends up being a fade andt I am still in the short grass.. This club has given me confidence to use my driver on some very tight fairways. I really feel like the 70's are just around the corner with weapon in my bag. I bought 9* stiff V2 shaft. Ft-5 is in the garage now.

Picked this up in VG used condition from the good guys at Arizona Golf Exchange... thought it would make a nice back-up driver at $49. I was wrong... this thing is an outstanding driver. I am not a big fan of Aldila NV shafts, but the 55 S flex is superb. I am 50, and hit 3 drives of over 320 today... yes, I know all the 12 year olds hit over 300 every time, but this is legit, I was really shocked. Must be partly the lighter shaft generating a higher swing speed, but the head is also something else.. the D spec did not seem to promote a draw much, which is fine... I didn't have a terrible drive all day, and am usually good for several weak quackers and a big block or 2 right. Dispersion on this driver is fantastic. I am a big club junkie, and am just jazzed to fall into this great stick! And $49?? Jeeze! I found the ball flight to be a little low, unlike some of the other reviewers, but not too much so, and the roll out on some was really impressive. I can't hit it any further, nor straighter, good grief, it might stay in the bag for some time... what a concept!! Hope you all find your magic stick, if still looking, give a 3DX a try!
