NTEC 2.80 Ti DRIVER
I just got fitted by Izett Golf in Ardmore, PA. Fantastic experience. Bottom line: Izett measures load in your swing which has a huge impact on what type of shaft you should use. While most golfers obsess over heads, you need to get the shaft and the head loft right to maximize distance. Golf Smith, Golf Galaxy etc. only use swing speed to determine shaft flex. Load is the only way to know if a shaft is right. My swing speed is only 101 MPH but I need a a stiff tipped X-Shaft because I have a very fast tempo and hard transition which loads the shaft more than average. I hit about 10 different shafts before finding the one with the right flex and weight. Izett has shafts for all loads and can match you with the best possible shaft, then you can watch the computer as they dial you into the best possible launch conditions for your swing. The computer showed I should carry the ball about 20-25 yards longer than my current driver. I went out to my course after getting a Nakashima driver and Matrix shaft and I hit 2 of 3 balls about 280 yards. With my current driver I average 255-260 on my best shots.
