MX 500 was always solid for me, did not like the Exsar 50 shaft though for swings above 95 mph. This club with the Fuji E360 shaft is a wonderful upgrade. The added weight is nice, and it's amazing but for someone who has never been able to work the ball on command, I am getting the sense that I can with this club. Swinging too hard is not rewarded, which for me is a good thing. I am getting 10 yds more distance, and my side spin rate has definitely decreased. Have only played in neutral position for now, looking forward to tweaking it. Customer Service None needed, all clubs are mizuno except putter. Similar Products Used: MX-500 |

This driver is a ripper, it has a great shape and setup and the weighting system is easy to adjust and does make a subtle change to the ball flight and shape. I have stuck with the standard Exsar DS3 shaft in stiff flex and it is giving very consistent results and excellent distance. The thing I like about this driver is that I am able to work the ball both ways which is definately not the norm for me (classic cut and slice player) I think it is the shaft which seems a little stiffer even at 59 grams. You can really feel the driver head and position and I know immediatley when I am outside the line, this has allowed me to "feel" the club coming from inside and now I can produce a nice draw. My driver is a 9.5 loft and it does have a boring trajectory but the roll is fantastic and distance has improved over my T/M superquad. The main thing with this driver is the consistency, put a good swing on it and it will do its job brilliantly. I have had many drivers but this one has improved my game and hitting more fairways is great, demo one and I am sure you won't be dissapointed. Mizuno MP 600
Just got this of Ebay. I have it fitted with a Grafalloy Blue (stiff) Shaft. I have always struggled to keep the ball low and keep the spin rate down. If you like to give it a bit of stick (115mph) and keep it down I recommend this combination. I upgraded from the MX 500 which was also a good driver but this is in my opinion Mizuno's best driver to date. It looks great, it feels and sounds good (solid with no Cannon like noise) and produces consistent results. Customer Service Used Mizuno for my mp60 custom fitting, very good. Mizuno MP-600
I had just recently purchased a set of the Miz MP-67 irons. I know I'm reviewing the driver, but I have to say these irons are the "cat's meow". BUTTER when struck. Back to the driver, I am quilty of switching drivers like most people change their socks. Needless to say, I've hit em all. My latest set up was the Callaway FTi-5 +2" with the proforce graffaloy blue 65. Liked this club, good distance, but felt like I was hitting a rock even when struck in the screws. And I always felt like the head was "triwlling". I tried this MP-600 out of respect to Mizuno for the irons. This thing is a beast!! I have the stiff 63 gram Diamana Blue shaft. This club feels like a dream and I have honestly noticed no twisting. This club with this shaft is fantastic. Highly recommend trying one of these drivers. Not played around too much with the adjustable weights, I've found my setting. I have a slight natural draw anyway, so I play the driver in the neutral position. I think in this setting, for me, it is easier to work the ball. Customer Service I have a bag full of Mizuo's and have not used nor needed customer support. Mizuno MP 600 Driver
I have been staying my TM R580XD 8.5 for 3+ yrs now because I really had not found anything that I hit any longer or straighter. That is until the MP 600 came out. I spent several weeks on the launch monitor and driving range trying the G10, Tour Burner TP, Hi Bore XLS and several others looking for any advantage. I havent been impressed with Mizunos drivers in the past but when I picket up the MP 600 I liked the looks of it so I said why not. From the first swing I knew I was on to something. For me the MP 600 8.5 with the Fujikura E360 stiff shaft gives me superb consistency and a little added length, 5-10yrds. I have better control and love the feel and sound. Solid, stable, good looks and long, its the best driver I have played. Players of all skill levels may find this driver to their liking with many lofts and shaft choices available along with the simple adjustable weighting system. Wonder club for mid-low handicappers. Long and straight. Nice feedback with Fuji 360 shaft, I am starting to be able to work the ball a little and this club head is good for learning how to draw/fade. Really like the head shape, sets up real nice. I seem to hit it better with about 1/4 of the ball showing above head. I was using a R7 460 with a V2 proforce shaft and average about 30 yards further so I guess the Fuji shaft is a better choice for me. Get fitted by a pro and don't look back!! Have been on a search for the best driver for my game for a couple years now and have been in love with the MX-25 irons in my bag. Tried all the big name clubs and some of the custom combo's. Had very good luck with the Ping G10 and an Alpha C830.2, but just were missing something. Tried the MX-500 last year, but was not that impressed, nice club, nothing special. Tried the MP-600 this year and hit one solid shot after another. Moving the weights does affect the ball flight to a small amount and also affects the feel. Found the best set-up for me was with the weights in the 2 and 4 positions, which is mostly neutral with a very slight draw bias. Most of the balls went very straight with only a few showing a slight draw, but I was still able to work it both ways when I need to. This was pretty close to the same distance as the best of the other drivers I have tried, no more than 3-5 yards further. It also helps it has my favorite feeling shaft for my swing with the UST Proforce V2 stiff. Works well with a nice controlled swing and has almost a forged feel to it. Should be in the bag for a while. I am now looking at the F-60 fairway woods. Customer Service Great for Custom products, have not needed any warranty work. This driver is great! It is a classic shaped driver with a nice shaft and head combination with the 360 Fit-On. I have always played Mizuno irons and have had some of their drivers in the past, but this is the best. It has a solid feel and great control. The lengh is not quite as strong as my Burner TP, but it is almost equal. The advantage to this club is it does not move offline as much as some of the other drivers. All and All, a great driver for a 10 handicap or less with a swing speed over 95 mph, and someone who is looking for a classic shaped head. Similar Products Used: MP-001, Burner TP, Titleist D2 |

I got the 10.5 degree version driver at the end of May and I love it. The feel is great and the head shape gives you a lot of confidence at address.I have gained a good 20-30 over my old driver (cleveland launcher titanium) and now my drives are much more accurate. The movable weights really do work. Just by one change you can see the change in your ballflight. I would recommend you buy one at your local pro shop today.
