Shoots in the 90s
Model Reviewed: Infiniti PFD-II

I finally decided to get fitted by a local PCS clubmaker and we settled on this Infiniti PFD-II head with a Fujikura Vista Pro 90 shaft in 4.5 flex and SST Pured. Loft is 10.5. My average swingspeed was around 100mph after many swings. I have a slow tempo back and a more agressive tempo forward. Cost: under $300 Results: The club feels nice in the hands. Not too heavy of a head and not too bulky either. I think this head is around 360cc's. Definitely not the 460cc type. In play, this head definitely delivers a dull "clank" sound. No "ping" here. Some vibration is felt in the arm as well. So off the face the sound isn't that great, but ... then you see the ball fly forever it seems. I definitely get about 250 out of this driver right now and I'm loving it. So ... how much of this is because of the head vs. the right shaft combination? What's to say a different head could do better with the same shaft, etc? All relative in my opinion. All I know is the ball is going further than it ever has. It's in the bag.

Customer Service

GolfLab in Lost Altos, CA took care of me. No problems, except for communications needing some work.

Zero Tolerance Maxima 360cc (played well with this as well). GolfLab feels the Infiniti head was a better head.
