This new open body Hammer-X driver I got has actually added distance to my drives, and the real surprise was how much straighter I'm hitting the ball with it. It has this flat shaft and I think it really makes a difference. My slice is 90% gone. I was very doubtful also until I put the POW-BOOM-BAM aside and gave it a try. For $99 with the free hybrid (which I really like) I thought "What the heck". It has definitely been worth it!

Don't listen to these fools! This driver is amazing if you actually know how to hit a driver! I can drive 300 yds with a womens driver, 330 with a mens, and 360+ with the HAMMER. It's all whos behind the club. Best bang for your buck 5 STARS!!!

I saw this on an infomercial and thought it looked interesting, but not for $99. So I went to EBay and got it for $35 took it out to the range and I must say it was the biggest piece of junk I ever tried!! The shaft is heavy and very uncomfortable feel. The head is small even though they say it’s big. Don’t waste your money, it truly is the worst feeling club out there!

I can understand the part about not getting any more than 10ft. off the ground. When I used this club at the range it did that for a while. Then I started to get loft on it. But honestly I don't buy the top of the line clubs because I don't believe it's the clubs I believe it's the golfer. The point i'm trying to make is once I hit the sweet spot with it I was still unable to outdrive the hits I was getting with my Walmart $30 special driver. This club really sucks, I only paid $5 for it at a driving range. Thank goodness for that too.

I broke a driver prior to a tournament I was playing in and my buddy loaned me his driver for the day. Just looking at the driver made me not want to go out on the course, but I am willing to give anything a chance. The feel of the ball coming off the face felt like I was hitting rocks. When I made contact with the ball all I was doing with it was hitting worm burners. It never went more than 10 feet off the ground. Then after the round a committee member was looking in my bag and seen I had a Hammer driver in it, and I got disqualified for having it. This thing is nothing but trouble.

Used this thing for about 12 swings on the first round of play and then the shaft broke at the smallest diameter - just above the head. The driver can't drive without a head...I wouldn't pay over $20-30 dollars for this, as it could break at any time. Manufacturer ignored my emails and refused compensation on the phone....

Customer Service

No refund and no compensation.

Went out to the range to hit this thing and the shaft broke in half. Biggest piece of garbage on the market. Don't waste your money. To make matters worse, I couldn't even get a refund.

This is the best driver and 3 wood i have ever seen or hit.If your a good golfer at all,and can hit the sweet spot consistantly, then there is no better driver on the market.I live in the dallas area,i challenge anyone to try to outdrive me.I'll hit my 3 wood farther than most of you hackers.I had a 305 yard 3 wood tee shot today on the golf course (sept. 26th 2008). Try that with any other 3,i have, and i can't find one that hits as straight and as far.I agree that jack hamm seems like a dildo the way he screams when he hits, but this club of his is awsome!!!!!!!!!!

I have at least 15 "cheap" drivers in my garage collecting dust that were supposed to bring me that rewarding distance and accuracy I have spent the last 30 years pursuing! I must admit that I didn't hold any high expectation for the Hammer but a fool and his money are soon parted. Well, to my eternal suprise, this very day I found it to be a gem not only at distance but accuracy. It allows me to swing smoothly and the feel is excellent. For $29.99 and shipping it can't be beat!!!!! PS I hope many of those negative reviews learn something about syntax specifically and communication in general.

Excellent
