Golf Smith Titanium 350 Drivers

Golf Smith Titanium 350 Drivers

DESCRIPTION

From GolfSmith: "Golfsmith's new Titanium 350 CM driver follows the same successful design styles of the Titanium Series CM metal woods but with increased volume for improved energy transfer from the clubhead to the ball. The added size is made possible through the use of a super high-strength beta titanium alloy from Russia called OTA-22. New to the golf industry, OTA-22 is ideal for creating larger face drivers because of its lower modulus than other beta titaniums. This higher yield strength permits a larger face area engineered thinner for greater face deflection and more energy transfer."

Bought the Golf Smith Titanium 350 10* this summer with a Penley Stealth 70 shaft, gr 70, trg 3.5, pt H, flex R, length 44" and Golf Pride Tour wrap midsize. It has really improved my game. I have longer and more consistent drives. Others have tried and really like the driver. Lessons along with the driver have made my game much better. Tried other XPC driver again that I bought with original set and won't go back to it again.

Steve's Custom Clubs is based in Hawley, MN and he has been an exceptional club builder. He made the iron set I have now (Golf Smith XPC with putter and 1,3,5,7 woods). Cannot ask for a better person.

Model Reviewed: Titanium 350 Cm 8.5*

I have been building clubs as a hobby for about 4 years now. I ordered a 8.5* head from Golfsmith and had it hand picked with a square club face as apposed to the standard 1* closed since I already hit anywhere from a slight draw to a nasty hook. I fitted the head to a pured Graffalloy 3.5 stiff shaft and a Golfpride Tour Velvet Cord grip. The club was built to 45" length and I added 9 grams of weight to the hosel weight port for a D2 swingweight. I have to say I am very impressed with this club. I have never hit a more consistantly long and straight ball in the 6 years I have been playing. The clubs gives me a nice medium high trajectory with great carry and plenty of roll. I have been hitting a lot more fairways and my distance which was already pretty long has increased slightly and is much more consistant. I can''''t say enough good things about this club. The Grafalloy shaft adds a lot of sweetness to the feel. I don''''t think you can buy anythng better for twice the money.

Customer Service

My order was shipped out the same day I placed it. Everythng was correct and the salesperson was very knowledgable.

Very good driver, esp for money. Assembled with stiff flex aldila hm2000 tour shaft. good traj, not too high or too low. due to size, off center hits are few and far between so feel is great. distance is by far best attribute, and an easy swing can send the ball. great club!

I matched this head with an Aldila HM-40 Tour Gold in X-stiff. I was contemplating going with steel but, there are only 2.2* of torque with this shaft and at 95 grams it is much lighter than steel. The result is that it is very controllable and very long. I got the 8.5* head and am able to get about 270 yds of carry without swinging too hard. This is a very solid product for such a low cost.

Very long and accurate. I had a penley tour light(s) that was spine aligned by golfsmith put in it. The shaft is a touch soft but this I believe adds the extra distance over my great big with proforce65. I average 275 off the tee which is about a gain of 10 yards. The driver is very forgiving and is surprisingly very vorkable for such a large head. The trajectory is excellent with both wind cheaters and high balls possible. Overall this is a great driver for the minimal amount of money spent.

I assembled this club with Ti 305 head, UST super 47 s flex with 45.5 inches, Royal cord grip(50g), and add 4g hosel weight. My swing wpeed is some around 88mph. Wow, what a great club. Considering distance, same as my Mizuno Ti forged. For consistance, better than my Mizuno Ti forged. It fly a little bit lower than Mizuno. Thay are all good driver. Mizuno has beautiful look. However, price is reasonable for golfsmith's clubs.

Who ever says that this Driver is not a good driver needs their head examined! I got the head and shaft from Golfsmith, than had my favorite custom golf builder put it together for me. I had the head matched up with a Grafalloy ProLite Elite in regular flex. This driver is awesome!!! The day I picked it up, I went straight to the range and hit ten drives with it and than right out to the course. I did not miss one (are you listening "not one') fairway that day. My shortest drive of the day was 260 yards. My longest was around 300 yards. This driver can be deadly in the right hands...I like this better than my Titilest 975D or my Mizuno Ti. Who says a component company can't keep up with the best of them. I say they can!
