Model Reviewed: BFC Driver 10 Degree

After monitoring this site for reviews on this driver and not finding one, I thought I'd share my exeperience with this product. First off, I must say that I have been a fairly loyal Dynacraft customer for some time. Rarely have I been disappointed in the performance and quality of any of their products and the BFC is no exception. I actually recieved this as a replacement to a previous 460 cc carbon/titanium head that unfortunately blew up on the range after only one round. The technicians at my local Dynacraft supplier explained that there were some production problems with that model (too bad as it was a beauty) and that the company was to replace it with a new head. After a couple of weeks waiting for the new head (no problem as it was winter here in Alberta) the BFC arrived shafted with the ProLaunch Graffaloy Stiff Flex. Shaft was spine aligned for a very reasonable price. Well worth it in my view! I've used the club for the entire 2005 golf season with the exception of a few rounds demoing the Ping G2 driver. All in all, I found the BFC to be a very high quality and consistent performer. Like any driver, when my swing is on, I hit this well. My driver swing speed averages just over 105mph which resulted in average drives in the 270-280 range. My biggest discovery in using this club to get the most solid and rewarding feel is by addressing the ball towards the heel of the club. At this location, Dynacraft has installed a permanent weight that certainly provides a draw bias and some heft when contact is made. As said, I found addressing the ball towards the heel provided a greatly enhanced feel than addressing it in the center or towards the toe. Again, I would say the location of the peramanet weight in the heel contributes to this. Workability is possible with this head despite it's affinity for right to left or straight shots. Trajectory is mid to high but can also be hit low to cheat stiff winds common at my golf course. The deep face allows one to hit it high or low by adjusting the tee height. As with most people trying to learn how to use the larger, deeper face heads of today, this club is designed to be launched up on the club face rather than in the middle. The lower you tee it up, the lower the trajectory which is great if you play for it. Cosmetically, this is a beautiful cobalt blue head and a very pleasing shape. Dynacraft markets this as a long drive series head so I don't know if my swing speed gets the most out of its capability. Nevertheless, a high quality product matched up with an equally high quality shaft. Would recommend this to any good or aspiring good player. Great job Dynacraft.

Customer Service

Excellent. This was a replacement club to another Dynacraft product. Since recieving and using the BFC, I have had no further need for service.
