Model Reviewed: Cobra M Speed Offset 460cc 9 degree RH Stiff

I was skeptical at first. It looks a bit odd due to the offset and monster head combination. From this years generation of 460cc heads, I've only seen this and the Ping G5 come in the offset model.

This club is not necessarily for everyone, but for my swing type (not exactly textbook), the offset head combined with the stiff shaft has worked wonders. In the past, I would occasionally fight a slice, and due to my tendency to hit the ball with a slightly descending blow, I was generating a LOT of bad spin. This shaft/head combination seems to minimize that. Now, even on my worst swings, the cut put on the ball is maybe 20 yards.
Yeah, but "is it hot?", you ask. After 2 weeks of using this driver, I can confirm that this is one of the hottest drivers I've ever hit. Even the toe is hot! I've managed to get some "wow" comments at the range (not something that I'm used to getting--at least not in a good way).

I'm only giving it a 4 for value at this point because $300 for a club is a lot for most players. But for my money so far, worth every penny and then some.
