Excellent sweet spot. Very accurate. I have a slower swing, so I purchased the senior shaft which only comes in a 11 degree. Didn't gain any distance from old driver. Would like to try same head with regular shaft and at 9 degrees to see if I could improve distance and still maintain accurancy. Customer Service didn't use Similar Products Used: no knowledge |

Picked up this demo driver with a stiff stock Cobra shaft at a golf course I was playing in California. I hit this driver better than any I have played so far - and I have tried many drivers. I am getting at least 20 more yards in distance with equal control. Great club head (hot!) and shaft. Customer Service Not used. played all weekend with 9degree stock aldila stiff shaft 350(2 rounds, both in 70's,rare for me despite 7.4usga hdcp. missed only 2 fairways and not by much.this driver is straight, pretty long, and one can really lean on that great shaft without hooking.had just ordered callaway gbb2 pro series 9degrees with pro stiff shaft but am considering switching to cobra(and save $150U.S.)head looks great!sound is o.k.,not as nice as titleist and callaway.can hit it high or low as needed. Three of my playing partners have been singing the praises of the King Cobra as to accuracy and distance. I was not convinced the club could make a significant difference in my scoring. I finally bought the club two weeks ago. On my initial time out with the club, I broke 80 for the first time in 4 years. Now I'm singing its praises. My drives used to be 2 zip codes away frim my playing partners. Now I'm not only in the same zip code but I'm even out driving them on several holes. |

I have tried all the drivers on the market. This driver, by far, is the best of all. It likes to be hit hard and as long as I turn my hands over during the contact - it sails 230 and straight. I tend to slice with drivers. What a find - what a club. Customer Service Excellent Similar Products Used: You name it - Ive tried it |

SS 350 9°
I played this driver earlier in the season for a few months. Mine was 9 degrees and fitted with a stiff Grafalloy Prolite 35 shaft. Overall, I found the club to be supremely forgiving. Just as the ads would have you believe, the sweetspot is indeed very large. Shots toward the toe were forgiven with a draw back to the target line; while the opposite could be said (but equally as forgiven) for shots toward the heel. All in all, surprisingly, it's a club for all handicaps. At first glance, one would suspect that it is purely a game-improvment club. Not so, in my opinion. I had no problem at all shaping shots to a very acceptable degree. In the end, I did give it up due to a lack of distance. I played the same shaft in a 975D for a couple of seasons and it was a perfect fit for me. But in the Cobra, the shaft just felt a little harsh and not a good match. My problems with distance are not reflective of the club though, that much I'm sure of. I was tempted to swap shafts but in the end, decided to stick with my present club, a Titleist 975J w/stiff EI-70 shaft. It's not as forgiving, but it is longer in my hands. Still, the Cobra impressed enough for me to strongly consider another go with one. Excellent club for the money, in my opinion. Similar Products Used: Too many to list... |

I have just resumed playing after a nearly 20-year layoff, so the last driver I hit was a Wilson 1200 plastic faced wood. I couldn't hit a wood then and I couldn't 20 years later until I found this club. I could rarely hit a wood squarely, and my best hit would fade to 180-190. Last week I split the fairway at 275. I just about kissed my playing partner. Anyone else who has spent a lifetime taking three shots to everyone else's two knows what this feels like. I outdrove my foursome three times in nine holes. Unbelievable. I have tested the 3-wood as well and it is likewise the first 3-wood I've been able to hit consistently. Believe the reviews and disregard those who insist you must pay more or buy Taylor Made, etc. Customer Service n/A Similar Products Used: (demo) Cleveland Launcher, Taylor Made 300 series, Olimar, Callaway |

I have recently been playin a Titleist 975D that i have had trouble hitting consistently. I went out and bought the Cobra and have had no problems hitting 90% of the fairways each time i play. I am now hitting the ball consistently 260-280 yds. Buy this driver!!! Customer Service Not needed Similar Products Used: Titleist 975D, TM320, Ping TISI Tec, TM580, Callaway ERC |

This club sets up nice and has a great look that instills confidence. With the stock Adila stiff shaft I tended to hit the ball with a slight draw. If I got agressive that could turn into a hook. While hitting on the range, I noticed that the club made a very loud noise and I found it a bit disturbing. Had that not been the case, I probably would have reshafted it with a shaft more fitting for my game. I think many will find this a fine addition to their bag.
