Great club, especially if you don't like today's 460cc-monster rare-shaped drivers. I find the distance is great, even compared with modern models. Neutral face, pretty high trajectory, easy to shape, good roll. It also gives some forgiveness on poor contacts. The stock shaft, Fujikura Vista Pro, works incredibly well with this club.

This is my 4th Cobra driver - took me way to long to ignore the salesman about which driver to buy. The "Tour" designation is only 1 in 20 that they have in stock and the square face makes all the difference. Of course slicers don't want a straight faced driver.

Since I already own the Cobra SZ400 Tour driver, I was curious to see how the new 414CompT compares. Went to a local golf shop that had both available to hit for a side by side comparison. Bottom line? If you want the most "players driver" Cobra has to offer, then that would be without question the SZ400 Tour-not the 414CompT. Why? Well, for one, while both clubs utilize the same Fuji Vista Pro shaft, the tip is trimmed shorter in the SZ400 creating a stiffer more tip firm feel than the 414 Tour. Also, the lightweight composite top of the 414 clubhead creates a REALLY low and back center of gravity compared to the neutral feel of the SZ400, and that, while making it easier to swing the club and get the ball airborne, is bound to have a detrimental effect on workability and trajectory control. Basically, with this new 414Comp Tour, Cobra has taken the "tour" qualities out of their latest Tour driver. The fact that Cobra touts this club as being appropriate for "low handicappers and accomplished players" to me is more than somewhat misleading. A square face alone does not make a "players" club. If you want a "players" club go with the SZ400 Tour(or SS350 Tour). If you want a game improvement club buy the 414 Comp "Tour"

playing every driver made except Cobra. now I have one and could kick myself in the butt for not trying it sooner. have wasted tons of $. looking for the right fit. you can do what ever you desire with this driver left-right, right-left, high, low or straight down the middle. I truly enjoy every aspect of this club. folks you owe it to your self to at least demo this baby..... money says that you will buy it once you hit it....
