Launcher 9.5 stiff flex
I can''''''''t say enough about this driver. I''''''''ve hit every other OEM club in the last six months and in my opinion, nothing comes close. The ball flight is beautiful with good trajectory and lots of roll. I''''''''ve checked face impact while hitting 50 balls and compared to this to a typical fairway width that one would find on most courses. Even hits outside of the center still stay on line. Of course you are rewared with long drives when hits are in the sweet spot. this clubs begs to be hit hard. Make a slow, smooth take-away then let it rip and the chances of your ball being in the fairway are very good. When I finally decided to buy this club, I had to wait several weeks since most discount golf stores were sold out. that in-it-self tells you about the popularity of this club. People buy''''''''em because they work. Customer Service Not needed Similar Products Used: you name it |

Cleveland Launcher 10.5 Stiff
I am just starting to consistently break 100; one of my biggest problems to date has been the inconsistency in landing fairways off the tee with my Callaway 12* Steelhead Plus. I purchased the Launcher with 10.5 degree/stiff shaft and landed 9 out off 11 fairways yesterday with one drive sailing off the tee 260 yards and landing on to the green (unfortunately I three putted for the par). I must say that the responsiveness and feedback I get from this driver has helped me make adjustments faster than anything the Steelhead Plus ever delivered. Will keep this club for a very long time. Also, you can''t beat the price!! Customer Service Haven''t used. Similar Products Used: Callaway 12 degree Steelhead Plus; also tested Ping ISI Tec. |

What a differance an inch makes. First tried the 10.5* reg,Fujikara shaft. I hit it so good, the rep. talked me into a 9.5*. Tried that for a week on driving range and 36 holes. It didn''t provide the improvement expected. Changed it for a 10.5* . Had it extended 1 " with a new Winn grip ( my favorite ) and WOW.What a difference. Hit about 80 drives today into a 15 MPH wind,on an Aqua range,(no bounce) with floater balls. 75 0f the 80 were straight, high, and long. At 70 yrs old,I call 200 yds on the fly, into a strong wind, with range floater balls excellant. I am a firm believer in the importance of launch angle. I have gone through all of the Callaway generation drivers. (BB,GBB,BBB,Steelhead 1 & 11,Hawkeye Ti,VFT)As well as the Ping ISi and a big driver called Prince. Tried the TM320,didnt like it. .I have kept the VFT which is a 2 wood 13*as a backup. The VFT only felt and went well about 20 pct of the time.Excited at 70 with this Driver. Cleveland Launcher Driver 10.5
Oh man! This driver really delivers. My drives improves by 20-30 yards and it is in the fairway 12 out of 14 holes.Initially I was hesitant to bring it to the course as I was hooking badly after trying it at the range. I was lucky as I didn''t even demo the club prior to purchase. However, after some tweaking with the ball position,my drives are straight as an arrow. I took only a session to adjust to the bigger head after having used to a small 200cc PING steel headed driver.I love both the Launcher and i3.Ther are both accurate and friendly drivers. However distance wise,LAUNCHER will be my main driver from now on. Cleveland Launcher 8.5 YS-7 stiff
This club seems to be quite sensitive to teeing heights. I have the 8.5 degree model with YS-7 stiff shaft and can get the same ball trajectory as my TM Fireole 10.5 if I tee it up over 2.5 inches. At 2 inches, I get the perfect boring trajectory I been looking for. I chose the YS-7 over the Fujikura gold because the feel was smoother and looked really nice with the chrome head. By comparison the Fuji shaft was a tad harsher but what really bothered me was the amount of torque. The stock shaft was rated at stiff flex so was suppose to be rated at 3.6 degrees torque -- no way. I could easily twist the head around with very little effort -- from my experience, I would put the torque figure at around 5 degrees. I never thought I would say this about a club, but this is going to change my game big time. A least 20/25 metres longer than my TM Firesole on good hits, but what really make the difference are the bad hits -- I hardly lose any distance (maybe 15/20 metres) and relatively little direction deviation on bad swings. What I don''t like is the feel compared to other "conventional" sized drivers I have tried (975D, PD901). There is an overall hollow feel, probably due to the 330cc volume couple with its light weight. And that sound. Well, its just too loud. Utimately, it the headcover that counts. Just joking. Results, results, and result is what count and the Launcher delivers. |

Cleveland Launcher
Well the only bad thing I can say about this club is the color of the Fugi shaft. What were they thinking? But as far as performance and cost you cann''t beat it. I hit alot of balls! If I''m not working and the sun is up then I''m golfing. I don''t have a 300 yard drive or a perfect game but I do love to hit drivers and I would say that I am very good with a driver.( it''s my putter that kills me) I hit the VFT, 320 TM, Mizuno,Ping and the QuadPro Ti. I liked them all even with the stock shafts. The reason I bought the Launcher is the deep face. When at address the club looks like a 280cc not the 330cc that it accually is. Taylor Made is too shallow but it smokes when hit good. I found the Launcher gives me the confidence to tee the ball higher, about .5" and that and the price of the other ones sold me. My last round I missed 2 fairways and outdrove the two other guys that usually keep up. They have the VFT. Now they want to trade for the Launcher. All I can say is to put this driver next to any of those other top name brand driver. It even looks easy to hit. Another thing is the shaft, it''s top of the line so you don''t have figure a new shaft into the cost of this bad boy! True... Customer Service Have not needed it. |

I have been hooking my VFT for the last year. Had resorted to playing my X-14 Pro irons off tee. Finally the local golf shop had me try the Launcher w/gold Fuji Stiff shaft. 60% draw, 30% straight, 10% hook. I didn''t change my swing. I''ve played golf for 31 years and have never hit a driver of any type this consistent. I will warn you, it is really loud!! Customer Service Unbelievable response time. Used e-mail and got 2 hour response on Saturday. Been a long time since I''ve getten treated like this. Similar Products Used: Taylor Made 320, 200 Steel, Ping I-3, VFT. |

I just changed to this club from my Ping ISI. It was bought a few weeks ago after I tested the Taylor Made 360. I finally tried it extensively today, back to back, with the ISI today and think this club outperforms it due to it''s length and workability. I was fading and drawing this driver at will within a few minutes of swinging the club. The Launcher has a real deep face and a shape that sets up to the ball perfectly for me. My ISI had a BiMatrix shaft in S flex but felt really boardy. This gold shaft developed w/Fuji is REAL smooth and offers great feel thru the impact zone. I was bombing this thing more consistently than w/my ISI but keep in mind that perhaps the BiMatrix ''S'' flex was too stiff for me?? This club was marginally longer than my ISI but was way more versatile....for me at least. You''ll love this thing off of the tee on dog-leg holes. I also used a 975D model w/EI-70 S flex and found this thing to be a WAY better club and blows away clubs that cost hundreds more! At the end of the 2001 year, 19 players on the PGA tour had it in their bags w/more playing it since. Without a doubt: YOU WILL NOT FIND A BETTER DRIVER FOR THE MONEY.
