Cleveland Launcher Titanium Drivers

Cleveland Launcher Titanium Drivers

DESCRIPTION

The LAUNCHER Driver was first introduced in November of 2000 to a select group of PGA Tour professionals. Put in play immediately, the LAUNCHER driver started making headlines when Vijay Singh used it to win back-to-back tournaments on the European Tour. Andrew Magee landed in the PGA history books when he made the only ever hole in one on a par four. Other golfers also used the LAUNCHER to win on Tour. The LAUNCHER Driver is rapidly earning a place in golf bags on and off The Tour because of its unprecedented distance and all-around performance.

Boasting a traditional shaped 330cc clubhead, the LAUNCHER features a Titanium body and a thin Beta-Titanium face that precisely meets the legal COR (coefficient of restitution) limit set forth by the USGA. The LAUNCHER Driver was designed to not only meet the needs of pros on The PGA Tour but, more importantly, to bring better distance and enjoyment to your game.

Brilliant, I tried it against the ERC2 and XR-03. The other two were slightly longer but the Launcher was straight as an arrow and workable left or right. I went out and bought the 3 wood because they are tremendous. As for value for money well its half the price of the TM XR-03. I still have the ERC2 and the XR-03 both have hit 12 balls each and are for sale.

I hit the 9.5 and 10.5 stiff to try both lofts. (I hit a lower trajectory with my woods) The 10.5 is longer and straiter than any other driver I have tried. I have the older Laucher 3 & 5 woods and love them. This is the first driver that I hit consistently longer and straiter than my 6 year old launcher 3-wood. Like ANY club, the shaft is most important part and proper fitting and selection helps tremendously.

Tried the 9.5 with S shaft on range and for 3 rounds. When hit correctly gives high ball flight with draw. When hit incorrectly, big hook. The last reviewer who said it went to the right is either left handed or has a bad swing (over the top), I have a hard time making this thing go to the right. The 8.5 has a flat (standard) face, the 9.5 has slight hook face and the 10.5 has more of a hooked face. I think I will try the 8.5. Distance is similar to my last driver, Titleist 975 R. Overall a solid driver that I need to work with.

after reading the previous review of this driver i decided to step up....i doubt a 70 golfer leaks the ball to the right...indicating late on impact..but thats his problem.....this club is all that has been written about it....long ..accurate and an excellent addition to any bag....to ensure its for you demo it but i promise you will not be disappointed....lonegr by 10-15 yards and for any handicap

This driver is everything that I've read it to be. Huge distance with lots of forgiveness. It seems like I cant hit this club wrong. I've always struggled with my driver but now it's the stick that I cant wait to pull out. I went with the 8.5 degree and the x-flex and I couldnt be happier. Get this club you will not be dissapointed.

This is hands-down the best driver I have ever hit (and I have hit them all). I decided to demo one after reading all of the reviews here. I can tell you that it is a very comfortable club. There is something about the swing "feel" that seems to promote a consistant on-plane swing. Distance is good as well, for me (according to the GPS) I consistantly hit it about 270-275 yards. Off-center hits do not suffer as much as other clubs.

No stories about how I hit it "this" far...here's how I feel it plays, especially compared to others. I have a driver swing speed around 107, but ended up with the regular flex. Don't hesitate to try them all. Also tried the 9.5 and 11.5. They all play completely different. Launch angle is higher than normal. Clubs seems heavier than average. Much more feel in the head than most. Easy to change trajectory (low hook, power fade, etc...which I'm not good at). Easily the most accurate driver I've tried, but I'm probably giving up 10-15 in roll, though the carry seems longer due to the higher ball flight. If you like a heavier headed, accurate, easy to get in the air, lots of feel in the head, easy to load shaft, then you should try this. If you like a hot, firmer feel and a lower ball flight of a lighter club, then this my not be to your liking.

Awesome driver. Extremely hot off the clubface with great roll. Best stock shaft of all the major manufacturers, but still not great. Experiment with different shaft options before buying. If you are looking for a heavier shaft with a higher kickpoint the YS7 is a good choice. I've had this club for a week and have already noticed significant improvements in distance and accuracy. Overall, a great club at a great price.

Model Reviewed: Launcher 9.5*, stiff shaft (factory)

This driver is awesome! It is extremely easy to hit. This driver is very forgiving and very long. The stiff shaft works well. Confidence is gained just by looking at the head at address. The head is big, but not overly so - it has a classic shape. I would highly recommend this driver to anyone.
