I have played with this driver for more than one year. When I hit the sweet spot I have gotten the longest drives I have ever hit but I have had conrol problems. Also the sweet spot is hard to find. I thought it would be much easier for such a large club head. I hit the launcher 3 and 5 woods great and far but I always have had problems with the driver. Maybe it is my swing. In any case I have decided to give the Cobra SS 350 a try. I have tried it three times in different ranges and I am hitting it straight and far. I finally purchased one and will be trying it on the course tomorrow. Customer Service I have never used it Similar Products Used: Cleveland Quadpro ti, Taylor Made Firesole R80, Cobra SS 350 |

Quite frankly, this is the longest driver I have ever used - and take that from someone who switches drivers often. I took this club and the C4 out to the range and it was no contest. I found the C4 to be very accurate but easily the shortest driver I have ever hit. The Launcher was 20 yards longer. (please don't lecture me that distance doesn't matter --- I will take a 9 iron over a 6 iron any day of the week) The Launcher is extremely long and more importantly, accurate. Balls off the center of the clubface explode off the clubface - balls off the toe had a nice high draw right back into the middle. This is easily the best driver I have purchased and the price is more than reasonable. Customer Service N/A Similar Products Used: You name it... |

This driver blew my socks off! I usually test all of the new drivers at my local club and this one ran away with the competition. The Titleist 975J, Callaway C4 and Hawkeye VFT, Ping TiSI, King Cobra SS350, and Taylor Made 320ti are all GREAT clubs, don't get me wrong, but the Cleveland Launcher threw them to the dust. This is the most incredible driver I have seen in my life! Its combination of looks, feel, distance, and accuracy cannot be compared to. I've played golf for 30 years and never seen a wonder like this. I usually am an average player at the tee but I can now send the ball down the fairway longer than my club pro, no joke! The Cleveland Launcher is the Tiger Woods of golf drivers, every other club is Phil Mickelson. All the other hyped clubs are good but the Launcher IS KING!!! Hit today 8.5 with a Graphite Design YS-7 X-Flex, Not as forgiving as my TM 360, Only caught 30 percent of the time, shaft was great will have to work on it again, TM is Longer and easier to hit, Sets up nice but probally will stay with TM 360 its just more forgiving and comes off like a rocket ship !! I have had this club for about 2 weeks. This driver gives me 8-10 yards over the Tour Edge Bazooka 320J. The Launcher with the the stock Fugi stiff shaft has been much better at keeping it in the fairway. I have also noticed that I can feel the head much better through out the swing. I have used my new driver for about 8 rounds. So far the results are very impressive, provided I have a good swing. A good swing delivers a straight or slight draw to the tee shot. I have picked up about 20 yards(280 yards) over my old driver which was a Callaway Steelhead Plus 10 degree. I have much more confidence at address because of the head size. Toe or heel hits suffer a little loss of distance. Now if I swing too fast I have been able to hit some ugly hooks. My son has a Cobra SS 427 driver. The Launcher is longer for me by about 10-15 yards. Forgiveness is about the same. The Cobra has a stock regular shaft which has yielded some big slices for me. The Launcher is worth a try and the price is right. I would have expected the prices to drop more to keep in line with the dropping prices of the TM 300 series. Customer Service Not needed. After 4 years of searching... I'm totally convinced that this driver is one of the best for me!! I had the Quad Pro last year - I thought it was great. The Launcher blew it away!! Yes... yes, yes... I know, I know... "Drive's for show... Putting's for dough." After touched by the Launcher, maybe I should change that saying to "Drive's for fun... Putting's for mon(ey)!!!" The Lancher sure helped me to take the enjoyment of the game to a higher level! |

Cleveland Launcher
I've been searching for the Holy Grail of the driver for a long time. Tried most of the top name drivers, Titleist, Callaway, Taylor Made. And also tried many component golf clubs as well. After reading all those great reviews on this Website, I had to give it try. Last week, I went to the pro shop at Palo Alto Golf course, and tried Cleveland Launcher 8.5 S, 9.5 S, and 9.5 R. the head is beauiful, and when at address, and club feels very comfertable, it has a minor closed face, so it give me the confidence that I need. Start out with I hit the 9.5 R, too high, and I get a small slice with the 8,5 S, my swing speed is about 95 mph. I hit about 20 balls with 9.5 S, and every since ball went stright, and the grajectory is mid-low, it feels great, and I feel I can not go wrong with this club. And this weekend, I took the club to a 18 hole golf couse for a test, and I shot the best round of my life. A 79 (could shot a 77, if not because two stupid missed pitch shots from off the green on the 18th hole), I had never break 80 before, my closest was 82. When you hit it clean, the sound is great, not as load as Callaway. the stock shaft feels better than most brand name shafts, and I've tried many... UST ProFoce 65, Grafalloy ProLite 35, 45, Grafalloy Elite (a very good shaft, I have it on my fairway wood), EI-70, Penley, Harrison Low Launch (did not work for me, I still hit it high), Aldila HM-40 Tour Gold (hate it), Rifle (Love it) and AJ Tech's $200.00 red shaft (I would never paid that kinds of price for a single shaft again). I can tell you this, do not change the shaft on this club, the Fujikura shaft rocks! This club will stay in my bag for now. I think I found it. I will let you know in a month or so.
