I liked this club on the range with the gold fujikura stiff shaft. Bought it and played for a few weeks with it, finding the shaft too whippy. Replaced shaft with grafalloy blue stiff and that stabilized it nicely. However, the driver head is toed in left and that is driving me nuts. I like to draw or fade according to conditions, and need to set up alomost for a slice in order to fade this club. Also find a tendancy to hook this driver when I set up for a draw and hit it hard, which has never been an issue with any other club. So all in all, due to the left toe-in, I've stopped using it. I now use my cleveland dual rail 3-wood for drives and find it to be more consistent and just as long. So I need to find a driver that has a neutral face (not toed-in left) and a shaft I can live with. I think the Launcher is a good club, just not the club for me. I did try a friend's 983 J or K (can't remember which) and I loved it. Very stable, hot off the face, lower and better bore than I normally hit (I hit a very high ball usually), and hard to hit a bad shot with it. Interested in trying some others before buying a new driver. I hear good things about the Cobra 427. I'd be interested in recommendations for lesser known drivers that don't have a huge marketing budget behind them, but which are nonetheless excellent drivers. |

Driving used to be my games' greatest asset, but as my honed my iron play and short game, I did nothing but struggle off the tee. Not satisfied with having to choose between short and accurate and long-and-who-knows-where, I gave up and bought what I thought to be a "big dumb driver". Screw the fairway I thought, the rest of my game will save me. If I only knew. This stick is all about performance. Long? Sure. Straight? Yep. Forgiving? Very. The greatest compliment I can pay this club is this; it doesn't get in its own way in its attempt at greatness. The top 4 or 5 names in golf would kill to have the biggest and best bombers, but many come off as overbearing in one way or another. Not the Launcher. It seems to give me everything I thought I'd never have off the tee. And at these prices? Try it, you'll like it. Customer Service N/A with driver. However, with my irons, wedges, and putter, they have been nothing but first class. Best Driver ever hit. Longer than my R510 with ei-70. But the best part, it's so easy to hit. YS-7 is very stable and I can really get after the ball. Similar Products Used: R510, 975J. |

This club was the first big name club I have ever owned. I tend to slice the ball on miss hits, not with this baby. I have the 10.5 degree loft, and it is perfect. Before the Launcher I was hitting a TourEdge driver. On average 230 yds, with the Launcher easy 260+. The ball has a beautiful boring trajectory that just seems to keep on going. I have hit the Nike Ignite, Taylor Made 580 XD, and Callaway Big Bertha. These drivers did not give me that "I just smoked it" feeling like tha launcher did. I would highly recommend this driver. I did hit the new 400 and 460, the head was way to uncontrolling for me. The ball sprayed everywhere. Customer Service Have not used yet. Golfit have a full 'wall'sized screen based analyser which produces all the numbers and a visualisation down a virtual fairway. I tried many of the main 440-460 drivers and took this second hand 330 up with me as it has scored so highly in the Review. I had no preconceived expectations and just hit my normal drive. I have a swing speed about 80mph, fairly square at impact so it tends to keep straight. I don't think simple driving distance means a lot because of course it depends on the conditions. What is important is carry and trajectory and that's why well configured analysers are so good as they give you the numbers you actually hit tee to the moment it first touches the fairway. All I can say about the 330 it hit longer, straighter and with excellent trajectory for roll than ANY of the others. I have played about 27 holes at Kilworth Springs since and it matches what I expected from the virtual. It is simply stunning!!! Customer Service I stumbled accross Golfit when taking a friend to see a car in Derby (right opposite the showroom, so I looked round while he did a deal on his wheels) The guys were very helpful and knowledgable, no hard sell. This club is great. If you are looking for a better than average club at a decent price, the Cleveland Launcher is what you should look at. I'm not gonna pretend to be an awesome golfer, but I can still hit the ball 250-260 yards on a very consistant basis with the 330. Plus, the 330cc head size is large enough without having the massive soccer ball on a stick look of those 400+ cc drivers. Once again, this is a great lower-priced club, and strongly suggest anyone take a look at it. Customer Service None needed Similar Products Used: Launcher 400, TM R510 |

Quite simply, this is the best driver I've ever hit, in every respect. Many people have claimed extraordinary distance advances, my experience is more modest. I hit this club about 10 yards further than my Ping TISI 7 degree club. On perfect hits, I drill it about 275 yards, on toe hits, it still goes about 255 yards. Nonetheless, it's still the farthest club I've ever hit. This club is, hands down, the most forgiving club I've ever played. Like I said above, the toe hits still go really really far, and not offline all that much. Sure, they'll go right a bit, but they'll still be in play. Making solid contact with this club is a piece of cake; it's setup for that exact purpose. Addressing the ball, you just know you're going to make solid contact. The trajectory of this club is greatly dependant on the shaft. I used the stock fujikura stiff shaft first: it was ok, but I kept losing it right (my swing speed is about 118 mph). I switched to an ultra low torque extra stiff shaft (YS 8.1), and it seemed to fix the problem. The trajectory is medium and boring...perfect! Perhaps my favorite aspect of this club is the feel. The sound of the ball off the club face makes even the weakest shots seem as if you've crushed it 300 yards. And the workability is awesome! I like to hit my shots pretty straight, and with this club, that is no problem. However, just messing around on the range, I hit some gorgeous fades and draws. I'm not yet comfortable doing that on a course, but I like knowing that I can with this club. Basically, this is the best driver I've ever tried, and I encourage you all to give it a try. Play it side by side with those $400 drivers, and you'll be astonished! Customer Service Never needed Similar Products Used: Ping I3 Ping TISI Taylor Made 360 Callaway Hawkeye |

I am a junior in high school and am on the varsity golf team. I only hit my old driver (975 J) about 240-250. I purchased the launcher recently and I crush it an easy 265-270. It feels very strong standing over the ball. I usually hit a slight draw and this club does not exagerate it, it flies straight with a slight draw. Great club, would recommend it to any golfer looking for distance without sacrificing accuracy. Similar Products Used: callaway big bertha, titleist 975J |

To paraphrase Toby Keith: "I like my wife, I like my truck, but I love this driver". The 330cc head size is perfect - not a basket on a stick. The C.O.R. is at the legal max and it is as forgiving as anything on the market. Intereting that a company initially known for its wedges now is synonymous with state of the art drivers. By the way, my Cleveland 60 degree wedge has found its way into cold storage due to the fact that it is virtually impossible to hit consistently. 330 Launcher /stock stiff shaft
Well named driver. Took the opportunity to play some January golf here in Ohio with my new used Launcher. I've visited the 280-300 yard range before but not with an easy swing like this. This thing is long and forgiving. The stock stiff is not that stiff and actually acts like speed limiting device for my swing. When I put a smooth swing on it, that ball is headed for the fences. Today's round, I was neck and neck with my partner's long drive club, a Cobra 427 with 46" Penley long drive style shaft. I love this thing. The course was soaking wet with no roll and I still played with approach clubs I've never used on this course before. Highly recommended but don't try and swing hard with stock shafts. You don't need to anyway.
