I won the driver on Ebay for very cheap. I was very uneasy about the driver. It looked funny and seemed awkward. The first few holes, the ball felt ugly off the club. But 3 nice drives, 240-250 straight. Then I 'let the shaft out'. WOW, now I get the hype. LOng and Straight.... Wonderful club and the NIke may sit in the closet for awhile. I agree with a previous poster who maintained that this driver isn't as forgiving as some other reviewers would have it. I'm STILL fading the ball with this club. Fairly disappointed as reviews here stated that it was essentially impossible to do anything other than hit it straight or draw the ball. Customer Service Bought from Rock Bottom Golf--as usual, excellent delivery and price. Similar Products Used: MacGregor Big 1 11.5° driver--really can't tell a perceptible difference. |

I absolutely love this driver. My usual drive would fade a little or slice alot. I got to where I was barely swinging to try and keep the ball in the fairway. This cost me tons of distance. This club has me hitting straight again. I now swing hard with confidence again. I'm driving 250 plus with regularity now and the ball is straight as an arrow. Also, I guess this club didn't sell well because I got one on closeout at Golf Galaxy for $80. After spending hundreds on Callaways, Cobra and Taylor Made, I couldn't be happier with this driver. I'm thinking of buying another one just in case something happens to this one. If you slice the driver, buy this club. Customer Service No need so far. Cleveland Sport OS 9.5 Driver
Last year spent $150 on lessons, $299 on new Titleist 983K and still sliced badly. Read books, watched video's, practiced weekly and still sliced off the tee. Vowed to get custume fit clubs like the pro's but don't have the time or money. Read Golf Digest July 2005 article "The Slice is Dead". Found it very interesting as it takes a scientific approach to evaluating various drivers compared to offset models. Then repeated the test in the hands of real golfers...the offset makes a remarkable difference. Found the Cleveland Sport OS 9.5 Driver with stiff shaft at rockbottomgolf.com for $90. Now I am finding the middle to right side of the fairway 90% of the time. I can still slice my drive if I get lazy. But now I am trusting my driver and finally know what it means to have a full release with my driver. I have given up 10-20 yards off the tee, but playing in the short grass has cut 6 strokes off my score and increased my enjoyment of the game 10 times. Just purchased the Cleveland Sport OS 3 and 5 Fairway Woods and in one round found similar results as the driver. The look, feel, and sound of these clubs is solid. Hey, I'd wear a chicken suit to play if it would fix my slice. Now my chicken suit stays in the closet with my Titleist 983K. Customer Service Rockbottomgolf.com has good web site, low prices, shipment tracking, and made exchange of incorrect product shipped very easy (even sent complimentary sleave of balls for their mistake). I always faded the driver and occasionaly sliced one in the wood. I was loosing lots of distance due to the slice and wasn't getting much satisfaction. I tried the Cleveland and had a nice surprise! I CAN'T slice with this driver. I hit it straigth and carry about 30yds more than before. I just have to make sure I make a good follow through or it'll hook like mad... For the price, I would recommend this driver for those having trouble with the drive. For those who already hit it straight, this is not for you. Customer Service Bought it from RockBottomGolf. Didn't have to use their service yet. Similar Products Used: Adams 363GT Wilson ProStaff AD |

First off, I've herd people say that off-set drivers are for high handicaps only. I could'nt disagree more. Ever since I started to play this driver my "fairways hit" has gone way up & my distance hasn't suffered either. The off-set has helped my misses "always to the right", & now I am preditably straight up the middle. A great problem to have! Sure I gave up 10 yards to the 460 comp, but what i've gained in accuracy more than makes up for that. 9.5, stock stiff shaft, 115 swing speed = 300+ yards. And at $99.00, how can you go wrong? This is by far the easiest Driver I have ever hit. I was previously a severe slicer with a long stick, but with this club there is not a hint of it anymore. I would recommend this driver to anyone with a slice and fast swing speed. Mine has the stock stiff shaft and is 10.5 degree. Not the longest, but by far the most accurate I have ever hit. I previously hit a Titleist 975d, never again..... Customer Service n/a Similar Products Used: Titleist 975D |

I'm a real novice. Went to the shop and asked the dude there what I could get for cheap that would make me look less crap. Dude sold me the OS for under a hundred bucks. Went to the range and smacked it about... I would say that its not as forgiving as some reviewers have been making it out to be. I had better expectations for this one. Fun for the recreational dude who is struggling. Similar Products Used: Srixon Woods |

Cleveland OS Sport 410 9.5 degree
Having recently returned to golf after a break of approx 3 years, my trusty 3 wood off the tee didn't make me competitive enough and I was the 'shortest' in the group. So with a bruised ego, thus started the search for a 'big dog'. If I'm honest I've never been the best at hitting a driver as my stock shot tends to be a slice. I trialled the latest Mizuno, Titleist, Taylor Made etc etc and I eventually took the plunge and got an R540. I had limited success with this and when it connected it really went, however, the slice was still hampering my game - costing me about 8 - 10 shots a round. I had realised that the R540 wasn't for me (workman and tools!!!) so I went on the lookout again. I borrowed my mates SZ440 for a round and the success was instantaneous and I immediately started to look for the best price. It was whilst looking for this that I happened across the OS 410. I was drawn to it by the nice weight and the 'cure for a slice' pitch and the price. I borrowed one from the pro and took it out for the round and what can I say other than the rest is history...I can honestly say that I have never hit the ball as far nor as accurate and it saw me come in with the second best round of my life. Where previously I wouldn't dream of taking a driver on tight par 4's I had that much confidence that out it came. I hit all bar one fairway ( too confident and tried to murder the ball but still went far ) and it is on a par for distance with my mate and his SZ440. The only downside to it is that the head cover is a bit naff and the colour - all Silver - but it could be pink with yellow spots for all I care. If you tend to slice then this has to be for you...it's a wand!!! Customer Service Not needed yet - might try and get a new cover though as the shaft is a bit exposed Similar Products Used: Titleist 983, Taylor Made R540/R580, Mizuno MP0001, King Cobra SZ440 |

Cleveland Sport 410 OS 10.5* Stiff Flex
Okay here it goes....... I thought the greatest driver ever was the King Cobra SZ 440 stiff flex but with experimentation I found that the best for me thus far is the latest Cleveland Driver 10.5* OS Sport 410 stock stiff flex due to forgiveness and length. Believe me I have recorded personal bests at my home courses surpassing my beloved King Cobra SZ 440. I have been thinking about trying the 9.5* version and with it being only $175 I just might. To be fair I tried the demos from King Cobra, Titleist, MacGregor, Taylor Made's new R7 and the other Cleveland Launchers but none of them can compare to the Cleveland Sport. I like the flight to of the 10.5* so I may just stay put here with it. Customer Service None Similar Products Used: All the latest from all top brands. |
