gets looks on tee! keeps me on fairway about 210yds. was a push fader with invex ti about 180yds. would not change untill something very much better came along.if you slice or fade badly this is for you! Similar Products Used: None |

If your disease is a slice, this club is the cure! If the numers on your card matter more than raw distance, this club is for you. I originally ordered the 10* model but found it over- corrected , so they sent me the 8* model. Bingo! The ball goes where I aim and, by altering tee-height, I can hit a high floater or a low wind-cheater. I have longer hitting drivers in my collection, but what good is an extra 20-30 yards if you can't see your target or have a funky lie? It does generate lots of humor and funny looks, for about the first 4 holes. If you play for money (I don't), you can probably make your costs back in a month or so. Also, bears a strange and wonderful resemblance to a an old Scotch club called a "Kelly & McKardle". Customer Service Carizma has been bought by Carbite. A guy i didnt know brings this brake light over and says, "You gotta try this thing". After my buddy and I laughed, I took it and drove it out into the desert at the end of the driving range.(Only about 290 Yards!) My first question: How illegal is this? He assured me it was approved and 4 days later I had mine. All I can say is its good to be the JOHN DALY of my group. A little tip, if you hook it at first, don't worry, get a WINN grip with an extra wrap. Customer Service The place I ordered it through, BRANDSPLACE, was very helpful. I was attending the San Diego Golf Academy in Orlando and all of us students visited a local Golf store .The owner Bob became a friend and I would always borrow new and used clubs to try out(at no cost).Someone traded the Pod in for a different club and it set there for quite awhile til one day I noticed it.I told Bob I was going to try it for a few days.I took it to the course and worked on my swing with it for s few days before displaying it to my friends and fellow students.It just happened that we were just about ready to play our class ending Tournaments.Prior to the start of our Tournament all players are announced by name and location(just like the big league).I approached the tee when my Teaching Pro announced my name with the Pod(trying to hide the Head).The look I received was one of amazement and disbelief.I missed 2 fairways that day and over the course of 3 days I hit the straightest drives I ever hit.I didnt win the Tournament but everyone knew me from the club I was using.Ive had so many jokes made about the club(tail light for a Volkswagon-gardening tool)but the jokes seem to stop when the Pod finds the fairways and I start collecting at the end of the match.I can accept all the ridicule and the jokes as long as I get paid. Customer Service The original Pod I bought only had the name PowerPod on the Head and not Ti.I contacted the Company to see if it was Titanium.I was informed it was but Ti should have been on it.They asked me to send it to them and they would replace it for me at no cost.I let them know I was a teaching Pro and I needed the new club as soon as possible.I received the new club in 2 days.Im about due for a new one so hopefully someone will read this testimonial aand send it to me. I picked up a Power Ti Pod after hearing a golf buddy rave about his original pod, which cracked on him. While I haven't used it yet in a round, my experience on the range has been very positive. Distance isn't any better and may be slightly shorter than my 12* BBB, but the drives I've hit on the range have gone where I've aimed. My natural fade has disappeared; the ball goes straight. If you're fighting the big banana, and don't mind having your buds make fun of this weird looking stick, then by all means, give it a try.
