I tried this side by side with the Taylormade 320, 300 and the Titlelist 975 and to me, it was easily the best feeling club. More forgiving than the Titlelist and as long as any of the others. Price is reasonable too, now that they're out of production - try and get one of these before they're gone. Similar Products Used: TM 300, 320, Titlelist 975D |

Let's just say that, until I bought my Hawkeye, I haven't even bothered to carry a driver for about a year. Instead, I've been relying on my GBB 3 wood off the tee. Those days have changed thanks to the hawkeye. I consistently hit the ball a dead-straight 270. If I really try to lay into the shot, the worst I wind up with is a nice fade. I've never sliced this driver and I've never hooked it. I'm thinking about hanging it over the mantle and polishing it daily (could be trouble with the wife, though). No way would I pay $400 for a new Hawkeye, particularly given that it's easy to pick one up on eBay, Golfclubexchange.com, etc. for about $200 that hits the ball just as well as a new one and looks just like your new one would after a couple of rounds. Bottom line? I love this club and don't see anything taking its place in my bag for many moons. Similar Products Used: Taylor Burner, Taylor 320, Callaway GBB, Titleist 975, and Goldwin AVDP. |

I got this off of e bay and it was definitely worth every penny. I have the worst slice of anyone I know and this club has cured it off of the tee. I average about 10 yards more off the tee with this club and more importantly I keep it in the fairway now. I highly recommend this club to anyone who has problems keeping the ball in play off of the tee. Similar Products Used: Taylor Made Bubble Burner, Adams Tight Lies 2 Driver, Titleist 975D. |

Was hitting my Hawk Eye pretty good with the stock shaft but reshafted it with an Aldila Tour Grade 60 shaft and it has made a huge difference - longer and straighter. For me, this has been the best club Callaway has made. Although I haven't tried the VFT as yet. Customer Service Haven't called Callaway's Customer Service several times (I also have the X-12 irons) and they are a terrific help. I go all around alberta in long drive competitions and I used to use a Titleist 975D and it was a very good driver but it is just a touch shorter than the callaway. The callaway is also a bit more forgiving when you are swinging 142MPH because it is easier to make some contact. Alot of people were crying about the shaft being to soft, so order a stiffer one like stiff or strong flex. The callaway hits farther but is not quite as workable as the titleist but it won me $2000 hitting the ball 391 yards so I give it a 10.(But they should come with corded grips for durability instead of those wet paper towel grips that wear out in 2 days). Awsome distance great feel very light good allround preformance. This is the best driver I have ever used. The ball explodes off the face at impact giving more distance. Similar Products Used: Taylor Made SuperSteel |

This is a very good driver. It's only faults are that maybe the head is too light and also the shaft. I have recently reshafted it with a UST Proforce Gold 65. I recommend anyone who buys this driver to do the same. It really lowers the ball flight and adds even more distance to an already long club. Very good driver, very forgiving, easy club to repeat swing, but a little too light & ball flight can be a little too high for 10*. Forget about stock shaft... reshaft it with UST proforce 65. Distance is not the longest... but with very consistent results. Love it. Similar Products Used: Steelhead, 975D, S-Yard, GBB. |
