This is a great club. With a smooth swing and good contact, the ball FLIES!!! Even on mis-hits you get distance with plenty of forgiveness. The face is huge which helps to cut down on tailing it off. The only bad thing about it is that I bought a shaft too stiff for my swing speed. It's a great club, definitely one that should be in your bag. Customer Service No Need |

I've had nothing but trouble with this driver. Perhaps the regular shaft flex is causing my problems but I've owned Callaway drivers before and never had problems. When I hit the ball it travels about thirty or forty yards before it hits the ground. It really seems like the ball just can't stay airborne. It's been frustrating to hit a smooth swing and see a good amount of energy into the ball and watch it hit the ground before the ladies tees. |

I absolutely love this Driver. I gave it a try because it had a bigger head than fairway woods yet smaller than that of modern Drivers. It hits really smooth, and allows you a good degree of playability. |

i hit a cobra for many years until i hit the hawkeye.. i'm not into the jumbo club head craze myself. the hawk 9 deg. has a normal sized head, stiff shaft and a beautiful overall feel. i recomend this for people that are truly serious about cutting strokes.. it's done it for me. Callaway VFT Driver 11*
Recently purchased a VFT 11* driver off ebay for 65.00.I was looking for a smaller head driver to help with my fades/slices.I have a GBB II 415 that I slice or fade 75% of the time,With the VFT I hit straight or slightly left 75% of my drives. This driver will allow me to start shooting in the 80s in the next few days.Going to sell the GBBII 415 on ebay asap because the Hawkeye VFT is so much easier for ME to hit straight. Customer Service Always good. Similar Products Used: Callaway GBB II 415 11* |

I bought my VFT used about 8 months ago and I have been happy with it so far. I used a King Cobra before I bought this and my teeshots got so bad that I sold the King Cobra and started teeing off with my 3 wood. When I decided to buy another driver I tested this one on the range and this club is long. I usually average about 250 to 260 yards with this club and I hit it all over the face of the club so it is very forgiving. When you hit the ball square in the middle of the clubface it makes the ball fly superfar. And I am using one of the softest balls made: the Precept Laddie. I have used the hard balls and they fly very far but I just dont like the feel of the harder balls. My slice has turned into sort of a poor man's fade. I also find that if you tee it up high that it helps to control the slice. I have driven one par 4 on my home course and came about 2 feet from driving another. Overall I am very satisfied with this club. If you are looking at getting one, there are tons of them on Ebay. Customer Service Have not used the customer service. Similar Products Used: King Cobra |

I know how it is to not to be able to hit certain drivers. What I do is sell them for a lot less so that others may be able to use them. For those VFT players here who have really bad-mouthed this club and really hate this driver I would suggest that there are many here who will be glad to take them off of your hands for $50-$100. Seeing that they are no good for you it's like doing you a favor. Customer Service na Similar Products Used: na |

I read a bunch of these reviews before I bought this club. I can't understand how people are not hitting this club well. I'm not the longest hitter, but when I consistently bomb the ball 285 yards down the fairway, I know that it can't be a bad club. I'm entirely pleased with the VFT. It's the best driver that I've ever hit. Customer Service Never had to use them. |
