I shoot low eighties, high seventies, had a 540xd, two of them broke, have another one now after trying A lot of drivers, got the ggb ll for free b/c of the 540 breaking, horrible driver, I hit it so god awful low, shaft is stiff as a board, horrible feel, nothing good at all, and the price tag said 400 canadian, what a rip off, mind you I still shot 77 with it by only hitting 4 greens in reg the whole round( I have a good short game) bad club

Work with this club. This club grows on you. I had questioned the shaft and I worked on my own mechanics. Had great distance but a little slice. Now the ball really takes off. In the fairway most of the time. I'll take 250 in the fairway any day.

Purchased the 9 degree driver with the YS-6 shaft and haven't looked back. Distance is excellent and accuracy is laser-like. The club plays to a lower loft than normal (especially for Callaway products) so go for one degree more than you normally use. My swing speed with a driver is 95-98 mph - the YS-6 shaft seems to fit well. Overall a very good package and due to discounting, very reasonably priced.

This club is not all it's hyped up to be. I feel like I've lost 10-15 yards on my drives since switching to this driver. I also don't like the feel of the club. Yes, it has great foregiveness on mis-hits, but when you nail one "on the screws", it doesn't feel good. Overall, it's not a bad club, I just don't think it's worth the money they charge for it.

Boy - FreddyC owns alot of drivers. Apparently loves the Callaway 415 while at the same time the Cobra 414 Tour is the best ever. Hmmmm. Think this is a club salesman looking for a pop?

It's awesome to hit a ball straight and 280-300 yards regularly. In the past that was almost a fluke. Not anymore. This driver is the best! Even with the stock shaft which is a couple of inches too short for me it's awesome! 11 degree loft. I'll replace the shaft during the winter and see what happens. I bought this on ebay. New for $192.00. My friends gave me a hard time that it's a Chinese knock off.(If it's a knock off I can't wait to use the real thing.) It is the real thing and they know it once they used it.

This driver is long! I gained an extra 20 yards on my average drive. This driver is also extremely forgiving..eliminated 80% of errant drives. Never mind any of the negative feedback..try it for your self..you won't be disappointed.

reviewed before adding more info. this driver grows on you. it is very long, ball flight is awesome, working lr, rl is excellent. hitting side by side R7, 580XD, 983K. Guess that is why Chad Campbell, Charles Howell, Rocco Mediate, Jame Oh, ect.... are now hitting this driver.

Had my Taylor R540 stolen so I thought I would try out GBB as liked it before when I tried it. Felt nice at range. I now hate this club. Very rare a good shot and not nearly as forgiving as the Taylor. I am returning it.
