I was looking for a driver to replace my Cleveland Launcher that just never seemed to fit my swing/launch angel once I left the store with it a while back. I tested the Taylormade R9, R11, Titleist 909 D2 & D3 and the Callaway FT-iz Tour. I ended up with the FT-iz as it was the clear winner on the launch monitor stats per spin rate and launch angle. OTher then the R11 my local store had all of the other drivers on special between $175 - $198 so the price was also very good.

On the course it is simply amazing and truly helped by game out night and day. I gained yardage over the Launcher simply due to the better ball flight, but more importantly was the increase in accuracy. My bad shot tendency is hook left, but this driver has a lot of forgiveness and does tend to keep the mis-hits more in line which means I am hitting from the rough rather then dropping a bal. The sound is exactly what a driver should like and the feel is great it really gives good feedback.

I highly recommend this club to anyone looking for added accuracy and lower ball flight.

Best Callaway driver I have owned and I have tried them all, longer than R-11 easily and feels the same at impact, to me the only difference is the sound, very long club compared to me last driver a 907 D1. I play maybe 12 to 15 rounds a year now because of work and this driver is just fine for finding the fairway.

Customer Service

Excellent service, still the best.

Picked up one of these used at my local golf store for $99.00 with vs proto by you shaft. This is a great replacement for my Titleist 907 D1. Already used to the triangle shape so it didn't take any getting used to. I find it is a much easier to hit club than the Titleist. Both are extremely straight hitting clubs but The Callaway gives me a few extra yards and seems to be more forgiving. Which ever one you can find at the best price would be the best way to go.

Titleist 907 D1 also a triangle club that works almost as good just not quit as long. Could bag either driver though.
