I love this club. It is very straight. I have to shorten my backswing but I still get the distance I want. It is very loud and gets alot of attention. This is a great club for anyone but you need to work with it for a while.

I was persuaded to buy this club by the salesman in the golf superstore who described it as "awesome". Asked to be a little more specific, he replied, "I can''t, this damn club is just awesome" Now I play left-handed and I have been struggling with this dratted game for over 40 years, but I can tell you with my hand on my heart, that this club really is awesome. If asked to expand on this I would have to say that I can''t, it''s just awesome! Seriously, I have never hit my drives so far; I have never hit them so straight. I''m not a bad golfer around the greens, but my driving has always been less than satisfactory - but this is no longer the case. Without any extra effort, I am actually driving the ball between 15 and 20 yards further, and that my friends makes your second shot that much easier and you feel so relaxed that your drive is now as long, or longer, than your opponent''s. I have heard people say that in order for the so-called "trampoline" effect to become operative it is necessary for the club to make a perfect contact with the club. With respect to those people, I say utter rubbish. My only regret is that every golfer on this planet will buy one in the end, and we, the ERCs of the world will be back where we started, but that''s life.

very nice club. extremely easy to hit. if I don't try to kill the ball, it rewards me with straight and fantastic ball flight. i'm swinging at much more relaxed pace and gaining 20 yards. incredible club.

I had a hard time to control and hit the sweet spot (the size of bean?). So, I went back to my old club - Hawkeye. But, ERC II has many good reviews also. Like everything else (including a trial merriage), try it first to fit your swing and/or strength, before purchasing it. When it comes to golf equipments, one size may not be fit for everybody.

this is the greatest club ever made, i hit the ball and it just kept on going and going!!!! whit my old Cobra King driver, the ball didn't go longer than about 290-300 meters, but the ERC2 went about 340 meters!!!! I reach the greens on 2 in all the par5's on my homecourse. buy this club, you won't be dissapointed!!!!!

I shoot in the high 70's/low 80's.
Very long and forgiving.
Approx 20 yard longer than 975D when you
hit out of the middle - most times - sweet spot appears to be quite large.
Poor swings still generate reasonable results - adequate distance and line.

Trajectory and roll surprisingly good,
almost as good as 975D. No high balloning shots.

Big improvement on BBB Callaway - much more piercing flight and roll, as generates much less backspin and side spin.
Price is excessive, when you consider what you are buying, copy type clubs now available for 1/4 of the price.
Also not sure about shaft selection.
Only Callaway system 50 shafts are in the shops, so there is no opportunity to try alternatives, plus you have to pay extra for Graffalloy etc.
Titleist 975J is also good, probably about 10 yard shorter, but comes with
shaft choice at no extra price.

I've read all the hype, and needed to try it out for myself. I must say this club is not for everyone, but for me it has dramatically increased my distance and accuracy on the fairways. This club is definatley an attraction at the range with its super loud "ping" noise. I used a demo for a round of 18 and became hooked. When I got into the clubhouse, I immediatley purchased the club. Hefty price, well worth it!

This is the second club I have ever tried. My ears hurt after hitting the range. Every one really turns to see what's up. I had a cheap driver to begin with. This is a first real driver I tried. I can really hit the ball with more accuracy. I also got a sweet deal. I am not a tourney player just recreational so USGA rules does not matter to me. Although, I have read the rules and it does say that only 11* is illegal. So if you got any other one go have a blast!

Anyone who gives this club a bad rating is crazy. I will agree that the standard shafts may not suit everyone, but the club head is unreal. I hit the bal 30-40 yds more than before. This club is worth every penny. If you like attention this club is for you. I feel like Happy Gilmore at the range with a crowd always gandering behind me. WARNING!!! Earplugs are a must.
