As a novice in this game I needed a forgiving club and seem to have found it with the Bulter SSTi 10.5 club. When I promote a proper form the ball jumps off of this club and is straight and long. My average tee shot with the club is 235 to 260 yards, no exageration. Once I get better with my form I expect huge dividends with the club. Customer Service I have not had to call on customer service for this club. Similar Products Used: Northwestern, Taylor Made, Big Bertha |

I had admired the club since seeing the infommercial on golf channel. Picked one up on Ebay for $69.00. Bought the 9.5 with stiff shaft. I couldn't hit it over 170 yards in the air. All of my shots were low fades. The shaft broke just below the grip on first outing. Seller replaced it with no proble. He sent me back a 10.5 with regular flex shaft. I was happy because I thought it might get the ball in the air. The driver was no better. Took it to a pro shop and had shaft checked. Shaft checked out as a firm but when on the machine the head was always 4-8 degrees open. I could not get the face to close no matter what I did. I put it back on eBay and got my money back. Bought a Nicklaus AirMax 360 that I love. Customer Service Really good. Broke the shaft first time out and they had another new club back to me in 7 days. The difference in driving came after 3 years when I bought this club. First time on a course (Rancho Manana), 1 week after purchase, with no driving range, I hit 13 of 14 fairways. Then proceeded to shoot 4 strokes better than I ever had, a 72. Very straight, low boring trajectory for longer roll with a 9 degree face. Traded for a 7.5 degree face and still works great. The only limitation is ME! Got the 3, 5 & 7 woods to complete the set. They are my favorite clubs in the bag. Since getting the driver, I have moved from an 11 index to a 6. Thanks Byron! Check out www.phoenixgolfsource.com for info on area courses. Customer Service 2 calls to the home office were treated with professionalism. Orders were promptly handles to my satisfaction. Absolutely love the driver. Only comment is the sound, when hitting the ball. Low flight and lots of roll to it. Gives me the extra distance to shoot lower scores. Similar Products Used: Hawkeye VFT, Steedhead III/Plus and Taylor Made 300. |

Beautiful finish with a shiny face. Set up at address instills confidence. Flight path for me tends to fade. It's a long and forgiving club especially on mis hits. Very lightweight. More of a finesse club than a power hammer. More forgiving than drivers listed below. Finish doesn't appear to be durable. May be difficult to reshaft since it lacks a hosel and uses a proprietary plug for an interface with the head. Like others who have posted reviews, I couldn't resist the deal on ebay. I bought the 9.5 with stiff shaft and the ball flight was extremely low for this loft. This club does keep you in play and it is capable of good distance. However, the distance is not particularly outstanding and the sweet-spot seems very small compared to some of the other new oversized drivers. I think this club would work well for a very narrow group of players. Similar Products Used: Taylor Made 320, Mizuno T-Zoid, Titleist 975d |

I wouldn't believe it if I didn't see it. 10 out of 11 driving holes 1st time out and as far/farther then the other drivers I have uses recently. My buddy who didn't believe that equip can make a diff hit 5/5 & farther then I've ever seen him. He now wants to buy one. I've been on a quest for a new driver in the past year. The other close 2nds are Nicklaus AirMax, ClevLauncher, TM320, Cobra350. These are all great clubs. But this ones is a little diff as I get very low spin out of it. I can still work the ball, but I need to be more contious of it. This just pushed my AirMax out of my bag. I've been hitting in the 70's a lot more frequently now. Customer Service Not Needed Similar Products Used: Nicklaus AirMax, Cleveland Launcher, TaylorMade 320, Cobra 350 are all great. I won't mention the many others I've tried. But some of the big names were supprisingly bad. I recommend you try them all |

This is a preliminary review. Just as the above guy, I bought this club at the same time he did for $69 off of ebay. I played with this club yesterday. I have a 8.5* with a stiff shaft. I really like this driver. I had to put a REALLY bad swing n it to not keep it in the fairway and on one par 5 measuring 540 yards I hit my drive 360 yards. You get tremdenous amount of roll with this driver which is good from some and bad for others. The only thing I noticed so far that I didnt like that was that the ball flight is very very low. I also own a new cobra 427. This Butler is an absolute steal for $69. |

This club aroused my curiosity in light of its extremely complementary ratings by three different "independent testing groups". I also couldn't resist the price ($69) on EBAY and bought one. I've played a number of different OEM drivers and definitely have my preferences (namely TM360) but can honestly say that I can hit every driver well and have found them all to be very "playable". This includes the likes of the 975D, BBB, GBB Steelhead II, TM360 and TMSupersteel. Not the case with this driver. It has very bad fading tendencies. Furthermore, it is extremely unforgiving. You have to hit it on a very small portion of the face to truly have any solid results. It is clearly, for me, the most difficult driver I have tried. |
