Scratch Golf 8620 Gap Wedge
Scratch Golf, whose clubs were played by Ryan Moore, designs wedges the grinds of which are especially fitted for the kind of swing of different sorts of players.(See their website for details) The company worked with me to find a grind that minimized my major difficulty with less than full wedges;slightly to very heavy shots off tight lies in wet fairways (we have had lost and lots of rain recently). The Scratch wedge is a very attractive looking club and so far (several rounds) works as advertised. Played after the recent tropical storm in the NE and made crisp contact almost every time. Trajectory was easy to control and full shots had the correct distance for the loft. This is a quality product, as good as the Titleist and Cleveland wedges I usually use, and the custom grind options are a significant bonus.
Customer Service They worked hard with me to match the grind on my new wedge to one of the swing types they have identified. Similar Products Used: Cleveland wedges from CG 10 to CG14 and Titleist Vokey 52:08 gap wedge, all great products. |

Adams Speedline Fast 11Draw driver
Just bought the Adams Speedline F11 Draw,10.5 loft ( first time chose the 'senior's shaft ,I'm 62 yrs ) played yesterday, slice is gone. The ball trajectory is higher than my other 10.5 drivers, but not a problem. Very forgiving, ball jumps off the face, I can't shape the ball so not a factor, it stays true down the middle, that's good enough for my game. I will note that if I set up for my predicted slice as before, or come across the ball too quickly, the 'draw' aspect of the club pulls it OB way left, so set up square, swing with balanced rhythm & you will love this club.
