ADAMS 430Q - 8.5 stiff FUJI
Fairway hitting machine. Not quite the longest driver, but consistently in the fairway with very respectable distance.
Customer Service EXCELLENT - Adams didn't have any more 430Q's to replace the cracked club head. They replaced it, no questions asked with the newer 460Dual with better Aldila NV shaft in less than a week. Similar Products Used: TM 510TP

For me this club was slightly heavy. After calling adams golf to see if they sold an accessory pack to replace the 2 20grams screws, now the club is working perfect. My setup, took out the 2 20grams screws, using the 2 2gram scres only on the drawside (towards the heel of the club) and I have left the other 2 holes empty. The sound is louder and straighter for me.
Customer Service average, couldnt answer few questions Similar Products Used: 983k, ping g2, integra golf |

I was needing a new Driver to replace my dated Taylor made bubble. After hitting a High bore, Sasquatch, and Taylor Made R7 & R5 I was impressed by the improvement in distance. I had bought the demo model as it had the last of the NVS graphites. I was fitted and it was tuned weight wise for draw (to correct my natural fade). You can almost see the ball fight the slice right off the tee and still hit 250 without trying. For the money, you can't beat it as it is 1/3 the price of comparable drivers. Customer Service Golf Galaxy, great as usual Similar Products Used: Sasquatch, R5, Hi Bore |

I've tested this driver for 3 days (about 9 hours of golfing) and can sum up this driver in one word: Solid. I purchased it with a Stiff 65g NVS shaft, and it is simply a great performer. No, it won't magically cure your slice, but I found tuning the weights to the strong draw produced straight drives. Whether it's technology or a mental thing (or probably a mix of both I suspect) this is a serious golf club for the low to mid-handicapper. The weight-saving composite top is great, the traditional pear shape is very appealing to the eye and it sets up very nicely. At the same time, I've been testing 4 balls to go along with this driver for my 93mph swing for the upcoming year: Nike Super Soft, Precept Laddie Extreme, and PWR Drive, and Maxfli Long and Soft; All are good balls, but the nod so far goes to the super soft with a great soft cover for around the greens, very closely followed by the PWR Drive and then the extreme. The various reviews that I read prior to buying this driver, were all very positive. Add mine to the list. It's a super driver without the super (R7) price tag. I bought it for 80 U.S. at GPP a great store for Canadians to check out -- total incl. all duties, shipping, etc. was approx. 135 CDN! This was my favorite driver at a local demo days. My swing speed is >120 but I I slice when I'm not square at impact. The best feature is that I can move the 10 ad 2 gram weights to give it a little more draw. This made me straight and long. I was consistantly flying about ~275 (hiting the 250 yd net 3/4 up). This was also the longest driver but the 65 gram Aldilla stiff (orange shaft) was too wimpy for me. I'd put at least a 75 gram to balance the head weight. The head was very compact and deep, which I like. Similar Products Used: Titleist 983E/k and 905s/t, R7, Nike 410 |
