Good place for company golf outings, where the inexperienced golfer can play. With new management this could be a great place to play golf again.

Management and staffing.

The product that Silver Spring Country Club offers IS NOT worth the price that they charge. Country Club prices with less than municipal service. Tees and Greens in terrible shape. Ball washers are always empty and paper towels have to be three years old. The course is extremely under staffed and unfriendly. Silver Spring CC is the last choice of courses to play in Milwaukee area.

Customer Service

Silver Spring CC believes that the customer should feel honored to play golf there.

Food and bar area although not that old is in poor shape.

Both courses are well maintained. Although neither course is extremely long, each has a several, not-so-obvious challenges and hazards.

Although the double-decker driving range is rated very high nationally, it is a bit of a challenge to determine yardage since the range slopes away from you.

There is quite a distance between the ninth and tenth holes on both courses as well as the 18th hole and the pro shop on the Falls course making walking a bit of a challenge.

Both the Falls and Island courses are well maintained. Any burns on the greens resulting from the harsh Wisconsin winters are quickly taken care of.

Several tee boxes have been rebuilt; almost all are in excellent condition.

The back nines of both courses are rather flat and not quite as challenging as the front nines.

Customer Service

The staff in both the pro shop and the restaurant offer outstanding customer service. You can't book a tee time if you're playing alone, but every effort is made to get you on the course as soon as possible.

The Le Par restaurant in the clubhouse offers very good fare at reasonable prices. The made-to-order buffet lunches Tuesday - Thursday are outstanding.

Well Maintained

Driving range is nice, but goes downhill, so if you want to check yardages, no luck here

Island is the old course and one of the few Island holes in the area, pretty nice layout and the course is kept up well.
The course is difficult but you can score on it if you're playing well.

The FALLS is the newer of the courses and is pretty short but has a nice layout and is good to get a quick round in. Again, they keep it in good shape.
