Years ago, I never gave this course enough credit. Now slightly older and wiser, I believe that this course offers an exception blend of classic golf courses. While nothing about The Pines course is particularly interesting, it is a solid course, impeccably maintained with enough length to challenge the long ball hitter, exciting greens that run fast and forgiving enough that the high handicappers can have a great time playing a well thought out and kept course.

It's fun, because you can hit the big stick on almost every par 4/5 on the course and you'll still have to hit almost every other shot in your bag to make it through.

Enough water, trees and undulating greens to be a truly enjoyable golfing experience without ripping the lining out of your wallet.
