Shoots in the 90s

Horrible course and horrible conditions. Not worth the $6 I paid. It is sad really because this used to be the 9 hole course for Edgewood Country Club, now it's run by the City of Charleston...and it shows.

I recommend Coonskin (run by the County) as an alternative.

I love this course. It is pretty challenging and the green fee is cheap. The only problem are all the hills. My legs are dead after playing the course.

Customer Service

This is a horrible course...The fariways are like mid-cut rough, greens are glass hard, You have to hit it pretty solid to hold the crappy greens....putting is pretty hard when you have to go through sand pits and holes randomly spread throughout the greens. The tee boxes are always uneven and you seem to always find yourself on a slope...I'm not sure its the worth the whole 3 dollars you have to pay..You'll end up losing your ball right down the middle of the fairway and get pissed off. The course is never maintained on a regualr basis...#3 has sand pits in the green and leaves cover #2. But what can I say, they're planning to remodel it and raise the green fee to a whole 5 bucks. Maybe they'll get a clue on what to do to make this course any better. I certainly hope so. This course is a waste of time and not worth the walk up the freakin hills. Looking for a good public course for somewhat cheap, try Shawnee.
