This is one of the prettiest course I play and I enjoy playing it a lot. Woods and no houses. Fairways + 2" rough are wide, so, scoring is fairly low. It is trapped generously and has water on several holes. It is public, but the owner (Oki Golf ~ about 10 courses total) has a membership deal that reduces green fees significantly at all 10 courses. Customer Service Nice people at pro shop and restaurant. Similar Products Used: Olympic Course at Gold Mtn, druids Glen (Covington), Classic Golf Club (Frederickson). |

Trophy Lake is a very nice golf course. They have a number of value deals during the week that make it worth the trip from downtown Seattle. The course itself is difficult, the bunkering is terrific and the views are very nice. The staff keep it in great condition and I have never had any issue with its greens being 'too hard' to hold a shot as a previous reviewer noted. The only problem Trophy Lake has is its nearby competition. The Olympic Course at Gold Mountain is a superior course, and plays for half the price. If you are in the area, enjoy challenging golf and can't get a tee time at the Olympic or have played it many times already, Trophy Lake is a very good option. Customer Service Excellent. Similar Products Used: Great driving range and practice facility, away from the course and often visited by some of the local wildlife. |

Great golf course. The best course I have played in Washington -- bar none. No backups or slow play. Complete test of golf. Huge fairway bunkers, undulating fast greens, water hazards, and tree lined fairways challenge you at every turn. No cheesy house lined fairways or OB ten yards into the rough. It is truly a spectacular and natural looking course. I even had a gallery of one red fox following me on the 10th hole! A little more expensive than most, but WELL WORTH THE MONEY!!! An unforgettable golfing experience. May very well be the best public course I have ever played. Customer Service Excellent |

This course is, or used to be a great course. The course itself is super, I like the traps very tough. Great test of golf. Requires length at times but really penalizes the errant shot. Unfortunately unless you play there on a Monday or Tuesday I think when the rates are reasonable it is way too much money compared to the local competition. Though it is in deed a good course, Gold Mountain, McCormick Woods and even Ludlow are a far suprerior value. Customer Service a bit on the snobby side, |

This golf course is one of the finest in the country. I am from the east coast and even though we have fine golf courses here Trophy Lake is right up there in the best I have ever played. Customer Service Everyone I came in contact with was very professional. I highly recommend visiting the grill after your round..tasty!!! Similar Products Used: The grill at Trophy Lake is better than some 5 star restaurants..NO LIE!!! |

The guy who wrote the other review is an idiot who obviously is not a good golfer and decided to blame the course for his poor play. Trophy Lake is one of the most beautiful courses in the state. Customer Service excellent |

The golf course is beautiful with all the landscaping, water falls, steams and ponds. However, the greens are so hard the ball bounces off the back regardless of the shot unless you bump and run up to the green. We found it hard to repair ball marks on the most of the greens. The course management was terrible, we had a 3:06 pm tee time and couldn''t finish before dark and there were quite a few groups behind us that also got caught in darkness. What makes it so bad is we mentioned this problem to the management months earlier and they said they would work on less tee times in the afternoon. It hasn''t got any better only worse. For the price or green fees I would rather play Rolling Hills or Lakeland Village. Customer Service The customer service was adequet, the girls in the clubhouse didn''t know much about what was going on out on the course as far as delays went. The girls running the consession cart was on the ball an Similar Products Used: None |
