My wife and I resolved to quit playing expensive resort courses becauses we had so much fun at Beacon Rock.

Interesting use of the topography to make the player shape shots and use every club in the bag.

Clubhouse not very accessible for people with disabilities.

Beacon Rock is a very pretty course and easy to walk. I walk with a cane and have to always take a cart to play 18 holes, but I can walk this one. It is much more challenging than its short length implies.

Grass gets a bit rough... could be kept up better. Clubhouse lacks anything "fancy" but does offer some great food and a small selection of golf accessories and clubs.

This course is a great little course. It offers some good golf, great scenery and a very fun attitude both by the staff and other players. Don't bother dressing up for this 9-hole course, but do bring the lumber. There are a couple of great long shots for the straight shooter. Mind the woods on the right, left... heck on all sides as they like to confiscate golf balls!
