Driving range could use target greens

Excellent Layout, the course was in great shape and the river and marsh views were wonderful. A good test of golf and reasonable fees.

this is probably the best conditioned course in hampton roads. i played the day after a hurricane and the drainage was so good i wasnt squishing. awesome layout. some brutally tough holes. great greens. yet, you can score here. i love this course.

Club house staff and managment

Good course in excellent shape. Challenging on almost all holes. Customer service in the club house needs alot of work. Expressed complaint in writing to head professional weeks ago without reply. This shows that top leadership reflects the attitudes of the staff.

Course is in pristine condition. I feel it's a challenge (i have a 25-30 handicap)no matter what your handicap is, mainly attributable to very fast, sloping greens. Price is very reasonable

It is somewhat of a drive (by car) away, but still well worth it. A lot of the extra facilities are still under construction, but they're working on it.

This is one of the relatively new courses I would say, in the Hampton Roads area... currently it's in tremendous shape (from rumor I hear, they actually didn't let anyone on the course for a year, just so the grass and all that would grow... and I have to agree, it's like in "new" condition. You really haven't seen too many people out there - We played at 3:00 pm one day (where it's $29 w/cart for 18), and finished in about 2:45-3:00 with noone before or behind us. I think it's in better shape than the TPC at VB actually, and that's a very nice course. I've played here about 3 times in the last week or so, and it's become my favorite newest course.. Would be a 5 I think if everything was already built and in order...
