Shoot in the 80s
A short first hole leads to a second tee requiring one hundred thirty yards to carry the Elizabeth River. I play there at least two times a week and this course has taught me the value of course management. Try to play this course under 85 with just irons.(I have and shot 84!) Lovely greens of superior quality with very challenging pin placements during the week. Best fairways of any public course I have played this year. Shoot in the 90s
This course is just plain fun! I go there to practice on my irons,3&5 woods, & putting. I feel the greens are as challenging as some of the big courses. When you first see the course you think it may be too easy until water & woods get into the picture. It's a great place for the beginner, which I am & for those wanting to brush up on technique.
