Shoots in the 80s

I just joined here just for the golf...the other stuff is nice too. The Manakin course was renovated to perfection a couple of years. While it is the easier of the two courses at Hermitage, it is one of the best conditioned courses in the state. Keith Foster, also the architect of Southern Hills which will host the PGA championship this summer, did a fantastic job with his renovation of the manakin. The sabot course is another fantastic course with many challenging water holes.

Hermitage has two completely different golf courses, both challenging in their own way. The Sabot course is very diffucult from the back tees with lots of water. The course has just been redone and is fantastic. The final four holes are beautiful, but just as demanding. This four-hole finish might be one of the toughest in Virginia. The Manakin is a more traditional layout with tree-lined fairways. Keeping the ball in the fairway is a must, but you can still score well from the right spots in the rough. This course is about to be renovated. The two courses complement each other really well, providing the members with stern tests no matter their handicap.

Customer Service

Pros are rather nice and polite as well are the waiters and waitresses in the Mixed Grill.
