One of the better courses in NOVA, though its layout is not very walker friendly. It is wide open, very few trees impeding drives and narrowing fairways. Very Euro... much different than most of the courses in the area. Customer Service Very good Similar Products Used: not many courses like it at all in NOVA... maybe in Scottsdale. |

This is one of my favorite courses in the entire norther VA area. Very scenic course with crazy bunkers. Challenging course but fun because of the variety. Course upkept very very well. Another advantage is the GPS system in the carts Customer Service No complaints on the staff...Nice clubhouse Similar Products Used: Old Hickory |

Average daily fee course, for an above average fee. $110 is pretty steep, given equal or better courses in the area change $70-80.
Customer Service Staff was not very friendly. They make you walk with your bag a long way to the range, despite a cart path and cart parking area there - odd... Similar Products Used: Worthington Manor, MD

The other reviews characterized the links style play. I think there are memorable holes, however, especially #3 with the tee high up the Catoctin Mtn hillside facing down into the Potomac Valley. A couple others could be right out of Scotland, deep bunkers etc. 15-17 are a bit like they ran out of creative gas before the #18 closing hole. Summer weekend rates of around $85 with cart is one of the highest here in Loudoun county. Customer Service Always excellent. Similar Products Used: Fairly standard riving range with SMALL ball bags. But there is a practice green where you can practice approach chips of 50 yards or so. |

Scenic, well-maintained and fun. Links-style course unique to the area. The staff is extremely friendly. Great practice facility. The rates are a bit high and the pacing a little slow, but a very fun experience nonetheless. |

It might of been my preset expectations for this course but I found it highly overrated, especially for the rates that one pays. Upon entering the gates one expects something truly special. With a beautiful club house and friendly staff, the course really does not do it justice. The holes had little, if any character at all, and result in a feeling of repitition for all the holes felt the same. The few holes that I felt were memorable such as 18 offered some of the worst teeboxes I have seen. Chunky grass and hard dirt makes it hard to feel comfortable using the driver. However it should be said that Raspberry Falls does offer some of the nicest fairways and greens you can come across. As long as you come to Raspberry Falls without any expectations, I am sure you will find this an enjoyable round of golf. |

Beautiful, challenging layout; well-maintained. But, the longest round around: carts unnecessarily on paths, huge green to next tee distances, and silly tall weedy deep rough in which at least one of every foursome will search in vain over five minutes for his Pro V1. Customer Service Professional and gracious. |

A truly exceptional course. Links style. Beautiful even though it gets tons of play. Also, extremely well run. Be prepared, though, to spend a full day. Similar Products Used: None |
