Good beginner's course- open fairways, not terribly challenging, which is good if you're starting out or want to practice on certain shots you don't have time to do on other courses.

Not as well maintained as most courses. Service is PITIFUL. But hey, if you retired thru the armed forces it's free so who can complain about that?

Military base course about 30 minutes outside of Richmond. Modestly open holes, with a good amount of fairway. The par 3's are suprisingly well protected, with an exact tee shot needed to get on the green. Overall, a decently well kept course that is nice for a change. If you know someone in the armed forces get them to go with you and have fun.
