Conditions year round(especially the greens) are very good to excellent.

Winton is an open, long but fair course. The greens are large and are well maintained year round. Winton has just added all new bunkers and green surround irrigation and the playability has improved dramatically. The greens are bent grass and the fairways are bermuda.
Winton has a friendly staff and good practice facilities. Winton is a fun course to play with wonderful vistas of the Blue Ridge mountains in the background.
