I have played Hobble Creek about 15 times over the past 25 years. This course is all about scenery. It is not particularly challenging and can play slow. As beautiful the canyon course is, Hobble Creek is a once-a-year course. Here's why. Inexplicable bad attitudes in the club house and attitudes by the players. Rarely will you be welcomed to join a single player or allowed to play through if you are the single. I get it that this is a muni course, but I play 3 times per week at various public courses where these experiences are the exception. Customer Service 4 stars for scenery. No stars for "raised by wolves" manners in the pro shop and on the course. I'm baffled by the complacence of a community to not improve a potentially outstanding course. I guess it will always just be "good enuf". Similar Products Used: Wasatch Mountain |

This golf course has a better setting than any course in Utah County. It especially beautiful in the fall. It is a short course, but interesting and fair at the same time. It's a good course to play golf at with family. |

The course is beautiful, there is no denying that. However, it has it's ugly side..... it's staff members. Customer Service Customer service is HORRIBLE, as others have said. My husband and i went there to just hit some balls, their driving range apparently closes at 6:30 PM which seems incredibly early, but we were pleasant and said, “thank you.” Then we went out to putt some balls (since we drove all the way out there might as well do something). The grass was wet and gave my shoes a pretty good washing, but as we start to putt a staff member intentionally turned on the sprinkler right next to us, forcing us to leave around 8:00pm- while many others were still on the green. Once we got to our car, the sprinkler was off. I have never been treated so poorly in a retail setting in my life. With this kind of attitude, you are much better off going somewhere else. |

I couldnt agree more with the other reviews about the staff. Terrible. The course is very pretty but Im not impressed with the maintainance it the more wooded areas. Maybe they should put the snotty front desk staff to work out there cleaning up leaves and fallen limbs and get someone from Murray Parkway to deal with the customers. There is a female at the front desk I wouldnt hire as a DMV clerk. Nothing like getting a bunch of aggrivating attitude before you tee off to make your golf day better eh? Customer Service This place needs a good housecleaning. Similar Products Used: Bountiful ridge, Valley View, Wasatch, Homestead. |

This is a mountain style designed 18 hole golf course. The course is challenging due to the fact each hole has trees and shrubs down both sides. Few of the holes are open, but still are difficult. The greens are very nice as well as the summer temperature. Great views surround this entire course. Signature holes are #1, #6 and #14. Fun golf course, on the difficult side. Customer Service Not real friendly inside the pro-shop. Similar Products Used: Jeremy Ranch in Park City

Without a doubt the funnest and best public course in Utah. And considering the amount of play, remains in pretty decent shape. Great greens. Customer Service Not very friendly pro shop workers. |

Great public course at a decent price. Course plays in Hobble Creek Canyon amidst the mountain oaks and cottonwood trees. Hobble Creek comes into play on a few holes. Not a long course but one that is rewarding and challenging. Best time to play in in the fall when the colors on the mountain scream with red, yellow, and orange. Customer Service Phone friendly Similar Products Used: Driving range is across the road and lined with nets. Practice teebox was in poor condition. |

One of my personal favorites, originating from my college years at the "Y". beutiful course, well maintained, challanging doglegs, some hole can be over played, like 15 affectionatly called amen corner, a low iron is needed or you'll push the ball right making it impossible to find the pin for your second shot. When visiting, theres no preferred course other than this one. Customer Service stuffy attitued in the club house, They must recruit these guys from "Pain in the Ass U" year after year, same "Polo Clad" morons give you gas about nothing.
