I will review the 2 courses seperately. This is for the Mountain course. Very beautiful. The front 9 is a little flat but good doglegs and scenery. The back 9 picks up more elevation changes and even more beauty. This is a great course in Parleys Canyon (I-80 East).

36 holes,....no big houses to look at,....great greens,....fun tracks,......secluded layouts,....beautiful courses !!!!

no more moose !,.....tough in the wind,.....somewhat un walkable,...but I have walked both 18's,......it's not easy though.

I wish I could have these courses as my home course,.....it's up parleys canyon half way,...and 2 courses to choose from so its usually easy to get out, even without a tee time except on the weekends,....anyway,...the canyon course is a bit older but in very good condition,....some of the boxes semmed a little hurt this year but I am sure they will be worked on,....the front 9 gets you nice and warmed up for the back 9 mostly hilly course, flatter on the front than the back, but still some good grades not relly a walkable 18 but possible. I used to see the mountain dell moose (RIP).....on this course all the time,....until some @!#@!!@@@#!#&%%er shot it,.....it was sometimes a little scary but he was always just passin through.... # 3 could be the signature of the front a short narrow 4 with trees and a creek about 220 out semms to get just about everyone....sand guards the front left and right. the front is more scoreable than the back. # 10 begins with a tough uphill 5 tough to get to in 3... the frist of some drastic elevation changes,.....# 12 a beautiful 3 not the sig though.....# 13 will test your nerves, blind tee shot,...narrow ob to the right and a hill to hug on the left,...and a waste creek about 210 out,...I never know what to hit, usually some wind straight at you. the green in nice but dont be long on the approach,.....water,.......gets a bit easier on in,..but be conservative,......# 18 is really tough if you dont have a good draw in your bag,.....Lake course,.......Lake couse in very nice I think a bit funner than the canyon,..but.....# 2 is the sig. of the front,...another short 4 but a thinker,.......tee shot you have to choose to gun it or lay it up,....a creek accross the fairwy about 230 out will make you wonder,...past that it drops off an you cant see the lake that fronts the right of the green,...good hole though !!!,.......# 4 is another sig hole ,....if you play it from the blues,....your tee shot has to carry a canyon atleast 230-250,....to make it,.....short 4 from the whites but 2 trees guard the middle of the fairway,.......good holes on the lake course and reallty fun,.....signature on the back # 13 tee shot over another canyon sand on the left fairly easy but beautiful,....the best hole on hte course is # 17,......completely blind par 3 pick your club and pray,.....elevated box,.....green is in the bottom of the canyon thin with sand on both sides have to pick the right stick,.......Mt. Dell is wonderful,....and a real gem,.....I hear the prices are going up,...but it is still a city course so it shouldn't be outasight,......
