Scratch Golfer
This is an 18 hole desert designed golf course. This is a fun course that keeps you on your toes. Some holes are very easy and some are very difficult. Conditions on this course a very good. When I played they had long rough so keep it in the fairway. I advise taking a cart due to the heat and some elevated tees to climb to. Signature holes are #5 par 5 with a elevated green by a pretty red cliff, and #6 par four that overlooks Moab due to the elevated tee. All golfers can play here scratch or hacker. Don't read this review! You may decide to go and play this GREAT Course. Great price, great staff, great views!!! Moab has so much to offer, hiking, biking, rafting, and the best kept secret is this golf course. Bike in the morning and golf in the afternoon. FYI: Golfed July 4 & 5 2003 in the afternoon*** Temp. both days, WELL over 100* great fun Customer Service Friendly staff, good egg salad sandwiches. |

What an incredible find this course is. Conditions are excellent. Tees and fairways and multi-tiered greens are in outstanding shape. I''m sure the course is seasonal, but we played in late Sept. and conditions were superb. The course has exceptional diversity. The course will give you 2 difficult holes and then a breather with a chance to make a birdie. Just what I like. A great many elevation changes. Some flat holes. Water and canyon carries. The views are superb with many red sandstone cliffs. This golf course is located just south of Moab, maybe 5 miles. This area is mainly noted for its hiking and bicycle trails. But if you''re a golfer this course is a must play. I talked to a few other golfers and they come from as far as Denver just to play this course. I can certainly see why. It is equal to any course in Calif. or Hawaii. Really a fabulous layout. Customer Service Excellent. Similar Products Used: Has everything. Driving range, putting greens. Nice little cafeteria. |
