Strength:
Melrose Country Club, when the name comes to mind I think pure elegance. The course truly brings out all of the parts of the game. Around the green shots, Long straight drives and gorgeous par 3's. The maintenence is excellent! The fairway's and greens are always in top condition tstoto Weakness:
none . . . . |

I was not impressed...and won't go back. Played here end of last year...very disappointed. Its a bit of a frustrating course, cart path has you go one way, only to bring back other way for next hole. Signs were down when I was there, so I had no idea where the hell the next hole was. Greens were concrete hard and brown...Bathrooms on course were locked...on a busy weekend. There are better places...for better prices....I'll go elsewhere. Customer Service The youngster at the desk was pleasant...didnt use any other services. |

Short but challenging golf course with the right mixture of trees, water, sand traps, and ups & downs that take alot of skill & planning. The par 5's are are good test and the par 3's are short but you must carry the water on 2 of them and traps protect the others.....Several short par 4's are big risk/reward holes. The wind was howling the day we played and made a huge difference in club selection. A fun course to play for all ages and levels. Customer Service Got off quickly on weekend w/o a tee time. |

Wow, this course has gone downhill since I last played it (2002). I love the layout (target-golf to the max.) The greens were in TERRIBLE condition...grass here and there, deep sand pockets everywhere, pits, hardpan spots...you name it. Putts from as short as 2 feet would bounce, hop, and wallow all over the place. This isn't an overnight fix. It looks as though they were hit with a fungus and nothing has been done. It's a shame, really. The course would earn top marks from me otherwise. $18 is a GREAT rate, but not a great value given the current greens condition. It does make me appreciate, however, just what a $50+ green fee will get you :) Customer Service Friendly staff. Very laid-back atmosphere. |

A short course (6000 yds) that has water on 12-14 of them; yes, target golf to the max. You can shoot a 71 or a 101 -depending on how you are hitting them. Take you driver or leave your driver. There are 3-5 driveable par 4s, a par five that I have hit a sand wedge into on the second shot(!!), but it also has 3 tough par 3s over water -- especially if it is windy. Love it or hate it, you'll never play a course quite like this one. Customer Service Good: no "country club" attitude here. I once brought beer onto the course illegally and they were cool with it -- they gave me my beer and cooler after I was finished -- no questions asked. Similar Products Used: Good burgers and fries at the 19th hole. |

can u say target-golf? most holes are short but fairways are tight. u probably can leave your driver at home. there's lots of water in play, about 14 holes with some having it in play twice. is only a par-70. Customer Service average Similar Products Used: descent grill, but nothing special |
