Sunday played the Tradition was impressed at how well maintained the fairways and greens were! The course was in great shape! I think the rates are high not one of the best values in the Houston area! Overall my impressions o are very favorable and I would definitely play it again! Customer Service the staff was okay the ranger was very friendly and helpful and I didn't feel like there was a lot of pressure on the course. Similar Products Used: Glennloch, Longwood, Windrose |

Cypresswood GC
I've played the Creek and the Cypress and have not yet played the Tradition but hope to soon..A few weekends ago I played the Creek and was impressed at how well maintained the fairways and greens were! The course was in great shape! I've played Cypresswood on and off for years but this season was particularly impressed! I think the rates are probably one of the best values in the Houston area! the staff was very friendly and helpful and I didn't feel like there was a lot of pressure on the course..we were moving along fairly well! The Creek is designed more for beginners with wider fairways and less hazards and the Cypress and Tradition courses are a bit more challenging..Overall my impressions of Cypresswood GC are very favorable and I would definitely play it again! Customer Service Good |

Played the Creek Course (the least expensive of the three there) and was extremely disappointed in the condition of the greens. All except for #18 (no surprise) had large dead patches scattered throughout. My one reasonable birdie opportunity was foiled by such a patch when putt when careening offline by about 20 degrees right after I struck the ball. For $35 (and less) there are much better conditioned courses available. Customer Service Respectable Similar Products Used: practice facilities were adequate |

Cypresswood has three 18 courses. The Tradition is a fairly new upscale course that is fantastic. The layout is very wooded and is very picturesque. The other 2 courses (Cypress and Creek) are above average courses with reasonable green fees. Customer Service Very good customer service Similar Products Used: Both facilities have good practice facilities and good pro-shops grills. The proshops are small, but adeguate. The food is standard golf course fair (burgers, dogs, sandwiches, chips, etc). |
