decent architecture somewhat of a challenge

bad customer service, dying grass, fans on greens

horrible customer service, I am an attorney and was at a seminar in Tyler, I was out early and decided to go to garden Valley and get a tee time for that weekend, I had on shorts sandals and a tank top. The man was very snobby to me and when I mentioned I was a member of crown colony Texas NO.1 course at the time he said Oh we are better than them. I told him I was an attorney. I played the next day and they had fans blowing on the greens to keep them from dying. the course was a joke. The man in the pro shop was snobby. I have the money to play anywhere and I will never play there again.

This course used to be awesome. However, now they have lost their greens, put in bermuda greens, and they are terrible. The entire facility is run down and not worth playing!

Great greens, lovely condition.

Couldn't fault it.

Played this course a number of times last year and it was awesome for the price. One of the best public courses ever played. Greens were like a billiard table. Plays great for the back tees, but there are 4 other sets, so choose your poison.

If you are close by you must play this course.

Only weakness... 90 minutes east of Dalls

The most beautiful course in Texas. If you take a golfer, blind-fold that person and drop them on the 10th tee, they would never guess they are in Texas.

Looks exactly like a Carolina course.

Front side very pretty. Backside beyond belief. Everyone must play this course.

A great challenge. Perfect condition and great grrens. Can spend the weekend in one of their rental condo's.
