fast pace of play, friendly staff.

tough layout!!

Beautiful course with spectacular views. This course can jump up and get you on almost every hole. There are some blind shots at times. The greens were soft, but still putted fast. Many fairways are sloped right or left, so you tee-shot may look like it stayed in, only to roll off into the rough. Some of the par-3s are elevated 100 feet or so making for an interesting tee-shot. The pace was fast, and staff very friendly, and price was right. I'll be back for sure.

Wide variety of holes to play. Scenic layout and smart golf should be played if yopu want to score well. Greens make you work at lagging skills. Par 5's are the best around for finding out how good you are.

Too often a great shot is penalized by rolling into the rough or creek after hitting what you thought was the one to turn your score around.

This is a course that is fun to play only if you can hit it straight and find it again. Each fairway slopes and can be frustrating for those who crush it down the middle and wind up in the rough or worse. Very scenic and a test for anyone who thinks they have this silly game mastered. A True Hill Country course with a little of everything.
